Awesome video, very entertaining! How does that trade in program work at best buy? I've never done it before but it seems like it really helps on knocking down prices.
Favorite Genre? At the moment, Drama. To me a movie's job is to make us feel an emotion(terror, hilarity,et cetera) that will let us escape real life. And when I watch a powerful drama, there's something that draws me into the plot. However this could be a subject to change as im still young.
I dream of killing zombies too man...fun times fun times lol...anyway my favorite genre of movies is horror cause I love horror...im a horror writer and im gunna be directing and doing the make-up fx for my own horror...n my favorite sub-genre of horror is slasher....which is wut the movie im working on now is lol
i love dramas... i really do. The best movies are dramas, and yes there are the pretentious pieces of shit but then again every genre has shit movies. But if you want a movie than can make you feel, a movie that can impact your life and a movie that can incorporate virtually every other genre of film... look no further.
@platanopapi Drama usually have the best movies, Shawshank is one of them for me. I agree I think overall mine is drama and action now mix those in a good movie and you own me.
I use to think Comedy was the definitive genre, until I grew a brain. I think Comedy works best when it's kept short. So, sketch comedies I approve of. Honestly, Drama is my favorite genre. And I know that's kind of cheating since Drama and Comedy are really the two genres that everything else flows out from. Uhmmmm... Pyscho-Noir! Yeah, there we go. Movies like Memento and Dragon Tattoo. Dark, gritty stories with despicable characters and mind-bending journeys.
My type of movies is Thriller/suspenseful/Action /Mystery/scary Edge of my seat flicks
Because just love it and makes me wonder & stayed with me for while..hate boring ass flicks like Pure love story/drama and silly comedies just must have little suspense or thriller makes me interest to watching it & mix in with Hunk/tough cute rugged guys flicks like one example > Fast5.
That Final destination5 The Bridge part FUCKING AWSOME, lQQks like came out the “2012” the movie. But loved that part & PQ on that movie REAAALLL GOOD.
If I were close ,I would watch it with U & then JUMP on UR Bridge
HEYYthanks for head up in bestbuy deal trading DVDS for $5 each I took 10DVDS to trading in.I got Shooter,Cloverfiled,IPMAN1&2,Etitled,Insidiuos,Jetli’s Fearless, from 5 to $15 deal, hey they do price mach with Wal-Mart & usually bit cheaper and get $5 top of that 2,Take us in the stores like bestbuy& pawnshops buying Blu-rays too hehe, liked 50/50 is good but hate that boring azz Cinderella man.Just sooo happy got a good deal & blu-rays if u was close I would jump on ur dick & ride U HAAARDD!!!
Good vid John. I can't enjoy my meal if I'm amid the ass of society. I walk in to check if necessary. I'd love the horror genre if a movie could really scare the shit out of me, but none do anymore...
Crime films. For sure. It's always interesting to see the dark, gritty underworld of crime. Favorites include Se7en, The Godfather, The Departed, as well as Zodiac.
Comedy. When its good its just such a good time to watch. then action because its awesome, and last horror when its actually scary, which is like never
I love science fiction because of its originality and how creative a lot of sci fi films are. Inception, Minority Report and the Star Wars sequels not prequels.
Horror has always been my favorite genre. When I was younger, my favorite thing to do was to hit up Video Giant. They always had this special: 7 movies, 7 days, $7.00! At least 6 of those movies would always be horror. They've always been the most fun, most interesting to watch. Even a bad, cheesy horror movie can be fun to watch. You can't say that about most other genres. I am a product of the 80s and that's when horror movies were really booming. CGI had to come along and fuck it all up. : (
@donniedarkodevotte I use to go to the video store and rent horror films with the coolest covers and was usually let down by most of them... I still remember Shocker.
My favorite genre has to be dark comedy. Mainly cause a lot of those types of movies i can keep watching them after awhile and ill still find more things to laugh at. But not excessively "dark" dark comedies. like being john malkovich is a lil bit over the top.
My favourite genre would be Action/Adventure. I just love how Action movies can be so entertaining and such a joy to watch. I love just being sucked in into a good action movie for a couple hours.
Fantasy/Horror/Animated. Your intro sounds alot like Zombieland. Real Steel is good fun. 50/50 is amazing, I dare you not to cry/laugh. Final Destination 5 is good fun too.
Great video/pick ups John. My fav genre has to be the post apocalyptic (PA) genre. I love watching movies depicting different peoples ideas on how mankind will inevitably meet his demise... I am beginning to wonder if there is something deep within me that's messed up? I have such a love for the PA genre that it's almost unhealthy... maybe it's because I've lost my faith in humanity? Yeah that might be it.
@kiddy2686 Yeah PA are damn good, they give you that alone feeling which I like. I love Road Warrior I know its kind of cheesy compared to other PA, but its my dream. I also have no faith in man-kind.
my favorite genre - COMEDY. a good comedy movie is one that even though you saw the movie 10 times, the jokes still hold up, you still laugh at them, and you notice little funny parts that you never noticed in the previous 10 viewings.
Time for going back to grade school to Spell It Out: "Jahn-Dra" of movies, or "Jahn-ra". Tis' the LATTER one. Now, say it out Loud with me class, "JAHN-RA" (genre). Yes, by George I think he's got it!
Hopefully, yea. Most of the people I was referring to DID, in fact, do it on the 2-disc version. Like I said, IF I get shot down, I'll just drive 5 mins to WM & give it a shot there.
@aerodude73 You might be able to do that, I thought about it. Only bad thing is the coupon says 3 disc combo pack on it. But it should ring up the same on the 2 disc... now I feel like a failure. On a side note I use to photoshop coupons and add bar codes from other offers... I ate for free a lot in college.
This is difficult to narrow it down to one, but I do love the thriller genre, going back to Hitchcock, but more recently the films of Christopher Nolan. I gained a whole new appreciation for the genre after I saw Michael Mann's "The Insider." There is nothing like a well-directed thriller.
Gory Horror like Planet Terror and Bloody Action Films like the Expendables because watching a mans head explode is always fascinating to watch. But I must say Planet Terror may have went over the top with the gore but still a amazing film. Aliens is the kind of gore amount that is good or AMC's The Walking Dead.
*Crime dramas because i like movies that have to do with crime and whatnot.
*Mindless action movies because even though i have a critical mind when it comes to movies, a lot of the time i just wanna watch a movie and not worry about minor problems like realism and whatnot and just be entertained.
I like the old hitchcock thrillers and movie from the 80's mainly childrena dn family films. I mean seriously, all the great stuff came from the 80's, back to the future (my favourite film of all time) the breakfast club, short circuit, ALL THE GREATS!!!!
The road is one of the best "end of the world" movies that I have ever seen. Then comes Blindness with Julianne Moore and Mark Ruffalo and 3rd plac I am legend.
Awesome video, very entertaining! How does that trade in program work at best buy? I've never done it before but it seems like it really helps on knocking down prices.

John,
This is a serious question:
Are you hyper-active? Do you find any 'zen-like' time to reflect on your life?
I worry about you doing too much else when you're driving.

Aliens is the kind of gore amount that is good or AMC's The Walking Dead.

i have 3.
*Crime dramas because i like movies that have to do with crime and whatnot.
*Mindless action movies because even though i have a critical mind when it comes to movies, a lot of the time i just wanna watch a movie and not worry about minor problems like realism and whatnot and just be entertained.
*Thrillers because I love tension.

The road is one of the best "end of the world" movies that I have ever seen. Then comes Blindness with Julianne Moore and Mark Ruffalo and 3rd plac I am legend.
