  • Awesome video, very entertaining! How does that trade in program work at best buy? I've never done it before but it seems like it really helps on knocking down prices.

  • love this video

  • John,

    This is a serious question:

Are you hyper-active? Do you find any 'zen-like' time to reflect on your life?

I worry about you doing too much else when you're driving.

    Michael

  • Favorite Genre? At the moment, Drama. To me a movie's job is to make us feel an emotion(terror, hilarity,et cetera) that will let us escape real life. And when I watch a powerful drama, there's something that draws me into the plot. However this could be a subject to change as im still young.

  • 1:41 - Was Gerard Butler in your car?

  • @CoreyReviews This is Sparta!! Yeah I sounded like Gerard from How to train a dragon.

  • Dude you need a gps to drive to your local Best Buy?

  • @AnimeFanOnly2009 suspense yeah anything to keep me on the edge is good.

  • i lvoe comic book movies, i dont know why but the way the end up getting powers i wish i had just draws me in haha, best one is fo show iron man

  • @mikediamond100 I always thought that during all comic book movies, why the hell cant I have super powers.

  • i love dramas... i really do. The best movies are dramas, and yes there are the pretentious pieces of shit but then again every genre has shit movies. But if you want a movie than can make you feel, a movie that can impact your life and a movie that can incorporate virtually every other genre of film... look no further.

  • @platanopapi Drama usually have the best movies, Shawshank is one of them for me. I agree I think overall mine is drama and action now mix those in a good movie and you own me.

  • Hey John what did u think of Final Destination 5

  • @armedfunkykong watching it right now, I like it.

  • good video john i saw shark night the other night boy was that a bad movie Final Destination 5 was crap but not as bad as part 4.

  • @matt11708 Shark Night just looks bad and cheap.

  • BTW, why did you pass up Sin City before? Great movie. I got the Blu-ray but haven't watched it yet. Glad it looks good.

  • @omaite1 I just had no urge to watch it anytime soon, but I figured the dvd wasn't good enough for that movie.

  • Good vid John. I can't enjoy my meal if I'm amid the ass of society. I walk in to check if necessary. I'd love the horror genre if a movie could really scare the shit out of me, but none do anymore...

  • @omaite1 Thanks for making me feel not so alone haha, yeah too many people stinking up the place ruins my meal.

  • I'm a really big horror film fan [for the thrills & chills of watching them]. But I'll watch anything if it catches my eye.....

  • @zillzultraboy fair enough, yeah I always found action to be my sweet spot.

  • Crime films. For sure. It's always interesting to see the dark, gritty underworld of crime. Favorites include Se7en, The Godfather, The Departed, as well as Zodiac.

  • @theUNFATEDone Yeah I like heist films as well so that kind of falls into that.

  • Horror because it when it scary it has the lasting impression and when it fails it has that lasting impression!

  • Btw. My favorite genre is martial arts/ action because I love watching half naked oily asian dudes fight.

  • @Pokemongirl44 you should watch SideKicks with Chuck Norris.

  • Your teeth are perfect, John.

  • @Pokemongirl44 I come from a family where everyone has big horse teeth, so thank you.

  • John , I fully understand your restaurant preferences ! I'm the same way !

  • @Reborn8303 Thanks glad to know there are more folks like me out there haha.

  • Awesome Video! Also its my dream as well.

  • @01Farscape I just don't get how it isint everyones?

  • i love final destination 5, i am a huge fan of the series. you should only watch the 5th if you've seen the first. i don't have a fav. genre, i range

  • @flimreviewer952 Yeah Ive seen then all, and I hear it wraps it all up nicely.

  • 50/50 is sweet

  • THRUST :P

  • When you started screaming I almost died laughing. Just wow, that was so random!

  • @R0ckyB4lboa the thrusting part? I was excited.

  • Comedy. When its good its just such a good time to watch. then action because its awesome, and last horror when its actually scary, which is like never

  • @sunsine8675 so when its good its good. Yeah Why cant they make a flick that covers everyone thing perfectly all in one.

  • is porn a genre?? if not then old school grindehouse the cheesier the better

  • @paudiemaguire1 porn is a hobby not a genre.

  • seriously wear ur dam seatbelt it may save ur life someday!!

  • @paudiemaguire1 safety or freedom which one is more important.

  • Action Drama

  • I love science fiction because of its originality and how creative a lot of sci fi films are. Inception, Minority Report and the Star Wars sequels not prequels.

  • @fuman0010 sci-fi does open up the mind and makes you ponder life.

  • I agree about the blu plague as I like to call it. I've got the sickness that can't be contained. Always on the hunt for that blu goodness.

  • Saftey first Seat belt john

  • Horror has always been my favorite genre. When I was younger, my favorite thing to do was to hit up Video Giant. They always had this special: 7 movies, 7 days, $7.00! At least 6 of those movies would always be horror. They've always been the most fun, most interesting to watch. Even a bad, cheesy horror movie can be fun to watch. You can't say that about most other genres. I am a product of the 80s and that's when horror movies were really booming. CGI had to come along and fuck it all up. : (

  • @donniedarkodevotte I use to go to the video store and rent horror films with the coolest covers and was usually let down by most of them... I still remember Shocker.

  • not really a genre but i like gritty British movies

  • @jakep121 gritty British movies never heard those two words put together... like which ones.

  • Why u not wear seat belt johnny?

  • @RObtimusPrime1995 I like to move around a lot.

  • Where did you get the online coupon?

  • @TomVeliotis google real steal coupon you will find it. Or blu-ray.com

  • I will eat a baby

  • There he is with new vid !! I was waiting for one I love your vids! Good vid though bro

  • @atreweek100 Got another one coming very soon, thanks.

  • I would like to get 50/50 just because it hits home... I'm going to Best Buy today to pick up some blu-ray movies.

  • @davisp508 Yeah I really liked 50/50 it would of been in the top 10 of the year had I seen it before hand.

  • Real Steal = Over the Top + Transformers

  • @Scarecrow76 agreed and that = fun.

  • Where do you get your online coupons? I love the Best Buy entrance, by the way. It's pretty much perfect for what can occur in that store.

  • @TheWeasleyBrothers blu-ray.com

  • horror, because when it's good it's great, and when it's bad, it's still fun at least. well, most of the time anyway

  • @talc89a You have a valid point.

  • id like to be a raider

  • My favorite genre has to be dark comedy. Mainly cause a lot of those types of movies i can keep watching them after awhile and ill still find more things to laugh at. But not excessively "dark" dark comedies. like being john malkovich is a lil bit over the top.

  • @almostwindowsx7 dark comedy is my life, American Physco says it all.

  • Gangster/ Drama & Thriller type movies

  • My favorite genre would be PORN

  • @Radiohead17321 thats a way of life not genre.

  • @theFLICKpick hahaa true that

  • did you run that stop sign by best buy? lol :) Reel Steel....probably rent that.....just looks completely gay lol :)

  • My favourite genre would be Action/Adventure. I just love how Action movies can be so entertaining and such a joy to watch. I love just being sucked in into a good action movie for a couple hours.

  • @irockmysocks1111 Action adventure does remind me of my child hood days.

  • u should get the dragonball z box sets that are uncut there rlly good check em out sometime there always filled with action and humor

  • Your Seth Rogen sounds like Cookie Monster

  • @Scarecrow76 Seth Rogen sounds like cookie monster, and both of them are funny as hell

  • @Scarecrow76 so it was spot on then.

  • Fantasy/Horror/Animated. Your intro sounds alot like Zombieland. Real Steel is good fun. 50/50 is amazing, I dare you not to cry/laugh. Final Destination 5 is good fun too.

  • @Scarecrow76 yes 50/50 did make me laugh maybe not cry but almost.

  • I'm I The Only One Here That Thought By The Title Of This Video It Was About Him Buying End Of The World Movies? Not Just Talking About It?

  • @MasterSword812 I Thought I Was The Only One Who Typed Like This Haha. Yeah I Thought That Too Dood.

  • @MasterSword812 You have a point hmmm well it sounded catchy.

  • Sci-Fi At the age of 8 or 9 I got hooked on the Flash Gordon serial movies.

  • 80's comedy nothing like hot dogs, meatballs, hamburger the motion picture! or i my just be really hungery right now!

  • @colehamelsfan1 80's comedy hell yes.

  • i here'd you are married? so does that mean i have no chance, by the way im a hetrosexual 18 year old man from australia

  • @jmanuell Im not married, if I ever said I was it was just for a joke.

  • Suspense/Mystery. Alfred Hitchcock is my favourite director of all time, so I have a fetish towards him LOL.

  • Gonna make you a video response!

  • Sci-fi !!!! My favs are all sci-fi, blade runner , alien and aliens , star wars, lord of the rings, etc etc etc.....

  • Wow! Your Seth Rogen voice sounded exactly like Otto the bus driver from The Simpsons.

  • @gocsa haha your right.

  • I gotta go with the Action Genre, esepcially the 90's action films, if the 90's gave us nothing else they gave us good action flicks

  • The Drama/Thriller/Action genre smacked together is my cup of tea... Why? Because I can.

  • Just a humve... why not a tank...

  • John i wish u had a genre! NO HOMO

  • @chickinnoodlesoup555 I do and its called kick-ass... im lame. Thanks dude.

  • war and adventure movies are the best

  • @starkingbiker Yeah epic action with drama too.

  • i like comedy the best because they are movies you can watch over and over.

  • @marciano315 I can agree with that.

  • you should pick up the movie "Tropa de Elite" you can compare it with "City of God" its really good.

  • Westerns. I know that's rare but i like Westerns the best. Something about the horses and old guns just makes me salivate.

  • Great video/pick ups John. My fav genre has to be the post apocalyptic (PA) genre. I love watching movies depicting different peoples ideas on how mankind will inevitably meet his demise... I am beginning to wonder if there is something deep within me that's messed up? I have such a love for the PA genre that it's almost unhealthy... maybe it's because I've lost my faith in humanity? Yeah that might be it.

  • @kiddy2686 Yeah PA are damn good, they give you that alone feeling which I like. I love Road Warrior I know its kind of cheesy compared to other PA, but its my dream. I also have no faith in man-kind.

  • fuck me that seth rogan voice is pretty good!

  • @RoboticPerfection well bend over sir... thanks pal.

  • What do you think best buy is doing with all these dvds considering they dont sell used stuff??

  • @WeWatchedAMovie i wonder that too, i don't see how they make any profit on them

  • @WeWatchedAMovie burning them to kill mother earth... recycling them maybe, I might ask them that next time.

  • In the '90s I would have said action, but now I'm not so sure.

  • @BenGriffithsReviews same here, I like drama now a days.

  • bah real steal.. can it get more "hollywoody" ??

  • @Beatwolf your right, but its good fluff.

  • HE THRUSTS!!!!!

  • @ChrisStuckmann You nailed it haha thrust, nailed it get it...im done here.

  • Can't pick one alone... there are excellent films in every genre.

    I enjoy your vids... !!!

  • I'm into dramas and love dramas. Nice to see people's misery and emotional break downs, relations falling apart.

Sometimes a good drama can bring such feelings and emotions you never knew you had or probably would never experience in your real boring life.

I'd also love more and longer videos.

    Love ya. Take care.

  • @bruana10 yes misery and emotional break downs are fun to see, its makes me feel better about being me. Longer vid on the way.

  • my favorite genre - COMEDY. a good comedy movie is one that even though you saw the movie 10 times, the jokes still hold up, you still laugh at them, and you notice little funny parts that you never noticed in the previous 10 viewings.

  • @dkreegz515 I agree some comedy stay funny for ever, I think they have to remind you of a time in your life and connect some how.

  • Time for going back to grade school to Spell It Out: "Jahn-Dra" of movies, or "Jahn-ra". Tis' the LATTER one. Now, say it out Loud with me class, "JAHN-RA" (genre). Yes, by George I think he's got it!

  • @aerodude73 I like to over emphasize words and expressions.

  • Hopefully, yea. Most of the people I was referring to DID, in fact, do it on the 2-disc version. Like I said, IF I get shot down, I'll just drive 5 mins to WM & give it a shot there.

  • @aerodude73 You might be able to do that, I thought about it. Only bad thing is the coupon says 3 disc combo pack on it. But it should ring up the same on the 2 disc... now I feel like a failure. On a side note I use to photoshop coupons and add bar codes from other offers... I ate for free a lot in college.

  • This is difficult to narrow it down to one, but I do love the thriller genre, going back to Hitchcock, but more recently the films of Christopher Nolan. I gained a whole new appreciation for the genre after I saw Michael Mann's "The Insider." There is nothing like a well-directed thriller.

  • Gory Horror like Planet Terror and Bloody Action Films like the Expendables because watching a mans head explode is always fascinating to watch. But I must say Planet Terror may have went over the top with the gore but still a amazing film. Aliens is the kind of gore amount that is good or AMC's The Walking Dead.

  • i have 3.

*Crime dramas because i like movies that have to do with crime and whatnot.

*Mindless action movies because even though i have a critical mind when it comes to movies, a lot of the time i just wanna watch a movie and not worry about minor problems like realism and whatnot and just be entertained.

    *Thrillers because I love tension.

  • I like the old hitchcock thrillers and movie from the 80's mainly childrena dn family films. I mean seriously, all the great stuff came from the 80's, back to the future (my favourite film of all time) the breakfast club, short circuit, ALL THE GREATS!!!!

  • i like comedy because you could watch it any time any Where oh i sound like a digtel copy ad

  • The road is one of the best "end of the world" movies that I have ever seen. Then comes Blindness with Julianne Moore and Mark Ruffalo and 3rd plac I am legend.

  • @ds37 I always talk about the road with a friend and Duvalls wooden shoes.
