@Trumben well I guess in that case that's what makes us as Muslims different doesn't it? The fact is that there are no drawings which are accepted of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) because it was forbidden, whereas in Christanity for example there are many images which they believe (and accept) depict Jesus. Because a religion STANDS against ridiculing of it's revered and respected figures, they are backwards or violent? No that's called solidarity.

If for example you are walking in a street and all of a sudden you are terribly insulted by a stranger. how would you feel? And try screaming or taunting to a lion at a zoo. Imagine that there's only you and another guy stranded on a tiny island with just a coconut tree. But all of a sudden he started insulting and hate you for no apparent reason because he claim that's his right! Would you be able to sleep?

Since I don't believe in an afterlife, that's the ultimate crime, and if you are going to live in a cooperative society, you need to respect each other. If there would be a single shredd of convincing evidence, I would admitt God exists. But so far, religion is flying us into buildings. And the children that die before the age of 5, a vary small amout of them are muslims, so they won't be getting to go to paradise. Quran says : There is NO COMPULSION in religion - It can NOT GET ANY CLEARER, even a child could undertand that! NEVER, during prophet Muhammad's time was there a case of his follower wishing to change back to another religion, except one. And that man was totally not harmed and was free to go to a christian society which was totally at peace with the muslim community!

Im not saying that apostasy is always punished, but it is what's in the Q'uran. If you are born in an atheist or christian or buddhist house etc, the laws of religious optionallity applies to you. @juujuubie Yes, sorry about that. I meant that certain muslim scholars want punishment by death, not the religion. It's only their own twisted interpretation of certain hadiths. But you can still not say that Islam can be harmfull. We have to agree on that. And I'm not saying that all muslims commit honor-killings. But when a recent study showed that 38 % of Brittish muslims defend suicide-bombings in defence of Islam, I get worried. I don't need religion, neither does any logic person.

Although i do greatly love this song, there is no certainty in life or life after death. They are words preached and written by men. They can be made holy in every way along with their words, but in the end these holy men are just still just men, prone to the same falicies you and I are. I know the end result of touching a hot stove is unpleasent because i can readily see its end effects, but for someone to say with certainity the things in the end when the end has no date is a sad arrogance.

Have you really read ur Quran. Almost every page of - at the start of each page- states we are fools for worship 2 gods. You did not stop there, but vowed to kill us. Now, who is more respectul? A particular someone telling you his opinion or your holy book mocking someone and advicing its followers to committ murder? Which planet are u from? I just found these and I love his message. I don't believe it is ALLAH vs GOD. GOD is just the English translation. (or the other way around, does it matter?) The basic message is the same. Love each other. Be thankful for what you have, it could be worse, and stop trying to force your own personal religious view on everyone else. If we all accept GOD, He will judge us. Do not presume to judge for HIM. Anyone who kills in the name of GOD is trying to do HIS job. Let him do it!
