Your eyes are a trip in this video!! Incredible! Anyways this is one crazy invention. I would like it. You should have a contest for some cool japanese stuff. You have enough fans!
It is to dry out and warm up the futon. since humidity is high here, and the bed is full of cotton, it needs to be air dried when possible. It really is wonderful to warm the bed up, too. And unlike a heating blanket which can feel overly warm, this warms it up so you can get in. You then turn it off, and let nature take its course.
I wish these had existed when we were building our cottage out in the wilderness, and using it in winter. The beds were always so unbelievably cold the first night... But that was back when I used to love getting into ice cold beds and warming them up by squirming around. That too, was Canada, Manitoba... a chilly place to live in the dead of winter. But very enjoyable, bringing one most definitely to life.
Well, Mark... if you run it all night on those cold winter nights, you can snuggle up to the giant hot air bag and feel all warm and snuggly! No more lonely nights!
Japan is humid all year. In winter it is cold and humid. The futon get damp from inside body heat, and outside cold air (we don't heat the houses). This is like a giant hairdryer, or skiboot dryer that drys out and warms up the futon. Put it under the sheets, turn it on for a while before bed, and when ready, your bedding is dry and warm. Excellent. Sent this to my friend in USA and she loves it for those winter nights when the bed is cold. Mayu uses it every night to warm her side up.
I think this was pillow for the head , what about the cold feet?

@puketinho It's the length of the entire futon, so it warms everything up.

Sorry? You watched the video... and you read the comments and you still don't know what it is?!?
Why, it's an in-bed portable tofu maker!
*wink*
Think of it as a blow dryer for your bed on those damp cold nights when you need a warm dry bed.

Can you elaborate on that, please? I'd love to explain anything you didn't get. But 7 minutes is rather long, I know...
