Migraine Headaches : Basilar Migraine Symptoms

I have tinnitus, daily dizziness and vertigo when I bend down or put my head back and also when I lie down..I also have migraines and was on antidepressants to cure them, which it did- but now I'm off the meds, cause I put on a lot of weight as a result and the migraines are back. The dizziness and vertigo did not go however, just became more mild while on antidepressants. Please any thoughts on what may be wrong?? It all got worse after I gave birth 2 years ago and I am desperate for feedback.

Does this mean hemiplegic migraine doesn't exist either?

If your Basilar Migraine Symptoms don't respond to Asprin, you may actually have Chiari I (1:1000 in general population).

@u2b83 if your migrain responds to asprin then its not a migrain its just a headach.

@u2b83 I think you are on to something. I believe that a lot of people with the vertigo, dizziness, severe headaches, ringing in the ears etc.. really have a chiari malformation and are misdiagnosed. It's a lot more common than people may think.
