@bradsterfordawin i saw a graver who mounted a low profile drill press vice to a piece of 2x10 and mounted tht to a lazy suzan bearing plate. try tht and see what you think.
Draw it on paper, scan it in the computer, print it out and use a transfer method to the metal. There are several transfer methods. Visit the sites: EngravingSchool and EngravingFourm to learn the transfer methods. For the point go to EngravingSchool and on the menu on the left look for and click on "Lindsay Point".
