  • Powerful Music!

  • With this piece of music, Morricone has created a masterpiece to rival every composer and composition known to man. "The Mission" soundtrack is the standard by which every European composer must be judged. Bravo Maestro, you have blessed the world with your musical accomplishments for this film.

  • This is life.

  • grande ROMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • I wonder what Mozart, Handel, and Beethhoven have to say about this amazing music.

  • @MOTHMAN225 They would say what a beautifull son we have here.

Iam sure they would rest in peace happier, knowing the disciple they have here.

  • @MOTHMAN225

Morricone continues their line into our contemporary era, though the classical music seems to be history.

  • @MOTHMAN225 They would be truly amazed.

  • I wish I were Italian too - this is fantastic!

  • sometimes we Italian people forget to be Italian

  • Dlaczego on jeszcze nie dostal Oscara????

  • dostał w 2007 r. za całokształt twórczości :P

  • Alleluya..!! One of my favourites films and soundtrack....!!Bravo

  • I'm not Italian, but after hearing this, I wish I was. Morricone is, in my opinion, the most gifted composer of the modern era. He touches Soul and lifts the spirits to the heavens!!! Bravo!!!

  • i would say perhaps third most gifted. John Williams, Howard Shore, then Morricone.

His music to "The Mission" is heavenly, though.

Music, for me, is the highest art form.

  • John Williams is certainly way up there for me too. But, I don't recognize Howard Shore, could you give me some of the movies or selections of his, you admire the most.

  • Howard Shore wrote the music for "The Lord of the Rings". In Dreams is probably my favourite piece from that movie.

  • John Williams before Morricone? C'mon!

  • brilliant...something majestik davvero un italian job... bel lavoro ennio

  • vinciandrea: You should have continued rolling to hear the crowd go wild, clapping, cheering, or standing ovation at the end! I like to see that!lol.
