Im watching this movie in my class. Its very scary... And my friends were in the back playing around... I told them and they really in truly dont care. I have already had a dream about this... Im only in 7th grade. I was like I want to make a bunch of green houses that run on solar and plant a whole forest by myself. But really intruly I dont know if I can do that... :(

Or, to save the trouble...Fracking involves digging deep pits, filling them with water (that can never be used again) and a myriad of chemicals, then putting immense pressure on the pit so the water/chemicals split cracks open in the walls of the hole. These cracks are where the gas seeps out from to be recovered, and really, that sounds ridiculously bad on it's own. You shouldn't need research to think "that sounds f*cked up and is probably detrimental to the planet" O_o
Remember when an eartquake, tsunami, or something of the sort WASN'T always in the news? Every few days it seems there's a new exceptionally strong disaster coming along. If you look at the history of the planet, sure, the climate fluctuates quite drastically, but there's usually a catalyst. This time, I think it's us. As an example, do some research about "fracking", the method used to recover natural gas. Then *try* to say that it's not f*cking with the planet and causing severe damage

I was in tears when i saw this film some 2 years ago... and it just changed my perceptions regarding just about everything that is increasing mine and everyone else's carbon footprint on the planet every passing day. I've learned to switch off things... use recycled paper.. use plastic bags adn a lot of things that can help reduce my carbon footprint. This documentry couldnt paint a more clearer picture. Our world is moving too fast for its own good and we've lost touch with the basic laws of nature and balance of ecology necessary for survival. We've gone too far and its past the time where we need to STOP and CHANGE our ways.
The whole world needs to see this film and if everyone feels the effect this film should provide, then maybe theres still some hope in saving our lives. TIME IS RUNNING OUT. Not doing anything is essentially suicide

I think dicaprio is well-meaning here, but man made climate change is a lie. I used to think it wasn't but then I researched about it. 95% of greenhouse gases are comprised of water vapour and clouds. Co2 is a miner greenhouse gas. This century it is likely we will see 1C of warming the 6C that the UN(Rothchild) predicted.
