Im a big girl and always had problems shopping. im in a hole of only wearing hoodies, t-shirts and jeans. i want to wear and be more fashionable. but im not sure how, i need a whole wardrobe makeover, my closet is useless. i live in nyc, and im inspired by you to go and shop at thrift stores and try clothes at straight stores. thanks gabi, please do more videos. i think your amazing, that dress is fierce!
Love ur new hair! I totally agree with u. This is how I have shopped for years, then I found ur blog and it has pushed me to try more things fashion wise. I feel like as long as it is "stretchy" I just might be able to squeeze into it! Also I have started to look at tags for the percentage of spandex, the more the better! LOL
i also try things technically not in my size but that is because i know my body and what cuts fits me in what way. some girls might get discouraged but you really have to try to things on and once you find the winning combination all the fall backs will not even matter. i have walked into standard size shops and the workers just screw face me, they dont need to worry cause i know what i am doing.

I recently bought 3 cardigans that are marked large, yet it fits me in the way that I find attractive. As for styling clothes in a manner that a designer didn't originally intend, well, yes yes yes! I highly doubt the designer would be offended by us "making it work"
I'm glad you're posting again. I was also saddened by Fatshionista's decision to exclude small fats from OOTDS.

I think there's a Beth Ditto quote floating around that I read the other day (I can't remember where) that said something along the lines of, "If a store doesn't have your size, try the biggest they do have. If that still doesn't fit fuck 'em for not making it in your size." :D
