@VitreousFloaterSolns I got mine at 22 if I wait untill I am 35 will I be a good candidate. Are there any long term risks associated with this surgery????? I am wondering if there can be long long term complications like I heard there can be with lasiks.
As bad as floaters are there are much worse eye problems out there. I would rather live with floaters than have a procedure that does nothing and adds problems. If there a lot of research out there because floaters do suck.
@LiveFreeOrDie1985 There is no magic age that makes someone eligible for treatment. The age ranges I use are for grouping people into "likelihood" groups. Younger people are less likely and older people are more likely to be treatable. There are exceptions in both groups. Turning 35 will not make the floaters move to a difference position in the eye. The is no way to predict that. Long term? The procedure has been around for about 20 years without long term risks apparently
Doc Johnson, i have been having this problem of eye floaters almost for a year, and i see it´s just getting worse by the time. I´ve been searching about the laser treatment and i read that patients under 35 have a big chance of not qualyfing for the procedure because the floater are too close to the retina.. is this true???????????????????

Those under the age of 35 or so are much less likely to be good candidates for treatment in my experience. There are a few exceptions here and there.
