Libraries were not closed in Third Reich Germany. They were seen as part of national culture and promoted just like theatres, museums and art galleries. Such a thing as is happening in this so-called democratic country would never have happened in 1930s Germany. A false representation of history here. What we need instead is truth to expose these LibLabCon rubbish. As for so-called Labour who control Brent Council, they are a disgrace. We need truth, not false propaganda.
"The library connects us with the insight and knowledge, of the greatest minds that ever were, with the best teachers, drawn from the entire planet and from all our history, to instruct us without tiring and to inspire us to make our own contribution to the collective knowledge of the human species. The health of our civilization, the depth of our awareness about the underpinnings of our culture and our concern for the future can all be tested by how well we support our libraries."
Seven shades of awesomeness, Uncle Phil; you did a better job of this than I ever could. btw if you keep implementing my ideas, any chance you could get Scarlett Johansson to move in with me? :) Regards, @geoshore
