Computer Programmer, Software Engineer, Computer Scientist et al. basically mean the same thing. Depending on who you ask, each one may refer to a more academic position, or more practical. At the end of the day, it all boils down to reasoning about processes.
Can one get a job in computer science or computer engineering teaching themselves at home? I'm already getting my degree in something else, but who knows, computer science and engineering does seem fun and very fitting for the times, technology isn't going away.
hey . . . its really a good video . .. hmmm . . I think computer engineering concentrate on hardware more than software because there's a programming engineering . . . so please till me what is the right answer . . . hmmm I am a student in the second year and studying a computer engineering
@NewYork17 no. he is definintely touching on computer engineering. while there are overlapping areas, computer engineer is when hardware touches software. When it is interacted with OS, compiler, it is more a computer engineering. however, the industry does not restrict who. It is based on experience. Many great software engineers today know how to program compilers. But one thing they wouldn't able to do is designing computer architecture and parts. i am a Cp.E student.
@RandomUser705 LMAO never that.... but i wont waste my time dude... i dont even know you ... i was just sayin my own opinion... i mean its true CE is harder that ACC.......what i was sayin was that they were both hard at the same time...but whatever man....
i love computer....i dont know a lot of it but i do lern fast and i work whith it so i'll be an engineer junior soon......;)thanks for the information its helpful
@halo4life97531 you don't have you to take any classes. however, a computer engineer requires many mathematics and science than a computer science person in undergraduate studies.
You need to understand engineering theories, strong problem solving skills, designing and even inventing new computers through innovation. To get a degree in computer engineering, you need to study 8 hours a day in math, science, engineering because engineering major is the hardest major.
computer systems engineering major. I'm really discouraged with my classes. they are very tedious and difficult. After watching youtube classes i have come to the conclusion that my teachers are the reasons as to why i have lost interest..
that was so helpful thank you so much

Apparently, one of the things that isn't taught in the computer engineering courses is how to properly sync a video.
