I have to give props to Ashfur, and say what you want, but here I go.
I always think how it would feel to be in the characters shoes before I judge them. Just to think, that if I finally found the person I really love, and they love me, and then they just suddenly, out of the blue, break up with you. Sure, I would be upset. Ashfur really did love her, but was a drama queen about it. And Brambleclaw wasted Squrrelflight's love when he didn't forgive her for lieing to him.
Mossfeather Graystripe didnt really help Firestar when he really needed it and Graystripe didnt learn from his mistakes he stopped meeting silverstream because she died!!!
Plus he shouldn't even be deputy, because Graystripe came back, so it should be just like when Mistyfoot was captured by Twolegs, she returned and Hawkfrost had to step down; she was deputy again. He was also visiting the Darkforest, so Squirrelflight shouldn't trust him. He would make a TERRIBLE leader! Brambleclaw stole Squirrelflight from Ashfur too. He accused Leafpool about telling ShadowClan about the badger attack, when it was HIM that should be blamed. Thumbs up for Graystripe!
Brambleclaw is great!!!. He saved firestar from Hawkfrost and he never really meant to hurt ashfur.He learned from all of his mistakes and he saved the whole clan by going and finding out what midnight told him. He also lead the clan to the new home. Graystripe made mistakes such as meeting Silverstream. There both good warriors but hating Brambleclaw is dumb

I never really have liked Ashfur. He was okay as an apprentice but even be for Squirrelflight I never really liked him. I feel kinda bad for him but he didn't have to go all crazy 'bout it, really? But, I do not think Squirrelflight used him on propose. It seemed like it but I think, and as she says, she was just heart~broken when she thought Brambleclaw cared more about Hawkfrost than her!! I don't like Hawkfrost! Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw are okay. As I said I never really liked Ashfur!!

i get both brambleclaw & ashfur. they both love squirrelflight, but ashfur tried to keep her safe when really what she needed was someone to run head first into battle like her(brambleclaw). and plus you have to feel bad for ashfur because:
1. cloudpaw/tail was taken by twolegs, and their pretty much brothers (but came back)
2.ashpaw/fur's mom(brindleface) was killed by tigerclaw/star so the dog packwould get a taste for cat blood
3. because he felt like squirrlflight hates him now:(
