  • Too little thermal compound

  • Mariosam2v2

oooo you dont know were is the center, lol

  • Vy ste slováci ? :)

  • i watched this when i was high... so funny LOL

  • Haha you guys made me laugh :D Thanks for the hilarious video

  • u sure? WHY NOT

  • loooool they crack me up

  • wich direction? this or that? *ding* hahah XD

  • you should not smoke b4 u mount a new cpu heatsink

  • @ReliefVEVO agreed ;-)

  • "am i straight?" - i dont know dude...

  • mate, your processor looks fucked.

  • @zabbestpriest it has been working for over a year now, OC'ed to 3.8GHz...

  • What is the song, when you put on the cpu paste, called?

  • @SanFaction O Fortuna by Carmina Burana I believe

  • @SanFaction O Fortuna which is the first piece of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana.

  • @ 2:56 "It looks like poo" ...........LMFAO

  • @PCGamer1984 LOLL!!

  • the centre? its that part in the middle dumb shit

  • Why the fuck did I have this on my front page?

  • @TearsOfWar1 You must be watching really really weird stuff if this came up in recommendations ;-)

  • @supo47 I maybe once looked how to apply thermal paste to a CPU on youtube.

  • guys, thats called - oversmoking of weed :)

  • 3:35 the center is at the middle!!!! ... no shit sherlock!

  • I'm surprised the instructions didn't tell you guys to spread the compound evenly to make sure there's maximum contact between the heat sink and your CPU, I hope there weren't any air pockets in there.

  • @TubersAndPotatoes Your not supposed to do that for these heat sinks.. YOu put a drop and let the heatsink do the work....look it up.

  • @TubersAndPotatoes - I've been building PCs for a long time and I can tell you that placing the goober in the center and letting it squeeze out to the sides creates less air than spreading it. spreading it creates air because the film you spread is uneven. when it gets squeezed out, the air escapes as it moves to the edge. There are some videos in youtube that show how the different methods react. They use a piece of glass and different application methods.

  • looool this is too funny....I'm so nervous watching them. plus the music doesn't help, XD.

  • did you say '' It's looks like poop! '' at 2:57 ?? Hahha

  • lol... now i'm relieved...

if even YOU can do this... i won't have any problems installing mine after christmas :-D

  • @Ashmodai thanks, this is exactly what we aimed for ;-)

  • @Ashmodai our point exactly ;-)

  • OMFG yea really lame ;)

  • yeah it`s lame

  • I am going to drop it on the cpu... you stupid dont drop it xD

  • He is rich did you see all that ram.

Thats y it looks like he dont now dont care.

  • Nice mobo, i got same one, we're twins.

  • "Am I striaght?"

    "Nahhhhh?"

  • if you think that its difficult to apply it until u have to practice it...wow...wait till u use a HeatpipeDirectTouch cpu cooler...its a nightmare just to apply the thermal compound...LOL

  • lol your building a computer but @1:45 you dont know how you use a syringe?

  • @rob3342421 and it still works many months later, isn't that cool? ;-)

  • Bro, spread your thermal paste.

  • @Disinf3ctant Please don't state misinformation. Spreading has been proven time and time again to be a perfect way of causing airbubbles, also the installation manual of NH-D14 states to put a ball of 5mm diameter in the center then put the heatsink on and rotate it slightly to force any would be bubbles out.

  • @zaphr89

You need to ease up on the formalized anger.

Ok tell me whats worse. A few tiny ass air bubbles, or a huge strip of the CPU heat spreader that's not covered with thermal paste around the edges. Spreading it with the contact plate is also exactly the same as spreading it with anything else. Unless you use you finger. (Don't do that please)

And the last time I checked Rodney Reynolds approves of spreading so I'm taking his word. ;) Cause that guys a fucking pc legend.

  • O>M>G....... BWAHAHAHAHA.....

  • O>M>G....... BWAHAHAHAHA.....

  • mommy..? some dude is tryng to make some kind of tutorial here....

  • You should try mounting it on the motherboard outside the case next time ;)

  • NO! DON'T LICK IT! :P

  • are you a guy who has to much money? Or why all that videos? you buy a lot of expensive parts and show here how you put them in your pc's.. I just don't understand the "funny part" of this, why you act like "dump" and make all that noises and sounds..!? anyway, enjoy what ever you do...

  • u guys r just dumb

  • @gookyme you'd hardly find somebody who is good at everything.. but you've got to give the credit to the rest of us who at least try :-P

  • @supo47 mate if u dont no wat yor doing dont do it it just makes you look dumb a computer is not a toy

  • @gookyme on the other hand, you should do stuff you don't know, otherwise it is no challenge ;-) + why wouldn't the computer be a toy?

  • @supo47 i agree with gookyme if you dont no wat your doing it makes us all us computer enthusiest look dumb and plus a computer is so not a toy a computer is a very advanced piece of technology!!!

  • @goodstufftoyou yeah, if you care about your image I'd start writing properly, but that's me ;-) Anyway I still don't get this, how is the fact that it is an advanced piece of tech preventing it from being a toy?

  • @supo47 a computer is not a toy. do you even no what lapping is for your cpu and heat sink to get the best results.

  • @gookyme that is your opinion, please don't state it as an universal truth. For some people, their cars are their toys, for some it is their computers.

I could look it up but I won't, because I don't care what that is ;-)

  • @goodstufftoyou LOL, have to agree with supo47, epic English Fail!!

  • @goodstufftoyou WTF! of coarse its a TOY. unless you are using it for strictly business purposes, its a TOY. i have tens of thousands of dollars worth of computers, and they are all TOYS. all computers of which have either 5870s or gtx 480s

  • @gookyme He should be supervised next time.

  • This guy really seems like an idiot.

  • damn dude looks like you have a lot of scratching on top of your cpu

  • "it looks like pooo" haha that cracked me up

    "lighting conditions adjusting!" haha

    "uuuh too muach"

    that was funnny

  • "it looks like pooo" haha that cracked me up

  • have always seen that you need to put the heat sink compond on and spread it very thinly over. Is this normal practice or do most people use the drop method like this?

  • @Catlicker101 the drop method is probably not very accurate, but I'm getting OK results with it ( 4.0ghz stable, around 70 Celsia after couple of hours under the CPU stress test as far as I remember, with around 25 ambient).

  • @Catlicker101 I spread it over with a credit card or something similar.

  • MASSIVE heatsink!

not enough compound tho :( you need MOAR.

    molodez! klasnii computer! ;)

  • @Anton338 I managed to overclock to 4.0ghz stable, so I don't think I needed more compound ;-)

  • All parts are good. and very funny: D. In doing that the first Crete: D

  • lol :D funny video first time you ever installed a cpu heatsink ?

personally i spread the thermal compound first . before i mount the cpu cooler ^^ keep up the vids girlfriend has a nice voice ^^

  • @HylianFury yeah it was the very first time, I guess it shows ;-)

  • @supo47 ma fajn hlas:D

  • your girlfriend is from slovakia? me too :D

  • @LeaRxD yep, we both are ;-)

  • lol i got a noctua cooler too for my next build, the music when you were putting the thermal paste made me laugh i'm afraid of screwing up doing this since i never done it before.

Never installed a cooler other than stock.

  • @SuperMasterTroll Don't worry, if I can pull it off, you can too ;-)

  • i will find out soon lol i turned the cooler around a bit to spread the paste.

did you have any issues first turning on the pc with 12 gb of ram installed?

  • @SuperMasterTroll Nope, everything went smoothly (actually I'm editing all the videos on the new PC, but don't tell anyone ;-))
