  • Lol there aren't any crows in California where I live it's all ravens...

  • @oniondeluxe Let me guess, you live in northern California on the coast? I know someone from that area where there are no crows, only ravens.

  • "Hey! This isn't food! >:C"

  • Me eats you!

  • i look so chinese crow.

  • He's cute

  • omonomonomonom

  • Cute little crow, looked confused when it grabbed your hand and got no food.

  • Awww what a sweet voice, better than Rebecca Black :)

  • Feed that mangy pidgion

  • He's hungry

  • Very cute!

  • awww. poor crows. i feel sorry for the you. because you are born to be pure black, you do not have nice voice. people treat them as bad omen. hey, black color has its beauty. i dont see swans are more beautiful than crows. but i do know crows are more intelligent than any other birds.

  • @rax7 Up close you can see that a crow is not pure black. Their feathers have multi-colored highlights that shift and shimmer in the light. They are very beautiful. But while they are among the most intelligent of birds, they still aren't quite as intelligent as ravens!

  • @ccoraxfan i thought ravens are in the crow family? Maybe i'm mistaken idk.

  • @quirkelchomp Close. Crows are in the raven family. They are sort of like downgraded ravens.

  • @ccoraxfan oh ok. Thanks for clearing that up.

  • @ccoraxfan Wrong! They are all part of the Corvus Genus which in case you didn't know is Crow.

  • @rAWRAWization Corvus is Latin for Raven!

Actually, Corvus can mean raven or crow. Whether you consider it to be the raven or the crow kind may depend on your world view. As a Christian and a firm believer in young-earth creation as the origin of the physical universe, the raven being the most widespread and sophisticated of all corvids suggests to me that it is the original of the kind, and all the smaller, more specialized corvids are descendents through breeding, as with wolves and dogs.

  • @ccoraxfan

And ravens aren't quite as intelligent as magpies!

  • "As a Christian and a firm believer in young-earth creation"

    lol retard

  • @ccoraxfan If you are a young earth creationist, why don't you just believe that God made ravens as ravens, crows as crows, wolves as wolves and dogs as dogs?

  • @spurcross Because you can breed wolves with dogs or crows with ravens and get hybrid offspring. You can't breed animals of a different kind, and the Bible says that God created every animal after its kind. So God made wolves and ravens, while the dogs and crows came later through breeding specialization, possibly in part through the intervention of man.

  • @ccoraxfan What about coywolves? They happened in nature, and are hybrids.

  • @EggbornHatchedrotten I didn't say it couldn't happen in nature, I just said it happens, and can happen through human intervention. Of course humans are part of nature as well, but even without human intervention hybridization can occur. My point is it never happens between unrelated animals.

  • @rax7 Crows are very intelligent I'll give you that, but let's not forget our friends the parrots now ;P

  • @rax7 i couldnt agree with you more

  • Crows are said to be even more (if not slightly more) intelligent than the most intelligent primates as crows have been proven to be able to not only use tools, but are also able to craft and fabricate tools to use to acquire food. They can also use tools to gain access to other tools in order to get food that's just out of their normal reach.

Sure their pitch-black appearance is intimidating, but they are also quite affectionate and very social. A most respectable avian species.

  • @rkmugen Their appearance is only intimidating if you've been taught to fear the color black. I'm not sure why anybody would be afraid of black, but some people fear black cats, black birds, black horses, and even black people.

  • @ccoraxfan It's not the color that caused people to fear crows and ravens. It came from their very large presence on battlefields, hospitals, and mass funerals before and during the middle ages. Because they were so often seen around dead things, they became associated with that, and were worked into legends that way. It's just always stuck with people since then.

  • @AlexSchneider21 I hope not. I like my eyes right where they are, each in one piece.

  • feed the crow !! iti's not playing. it is hungry!

  • @9072aaa Don't worry, the crow got fed.

  • @MrGoCam i live in Georgia USA, i can take in any wild animal that i please to take in. If its life is in danger, then i can take it in. Crow is a bird not many care about, so i do not believe its a big issue.

  • so cute!

  • i dont think that my crow was much older then that one when i rescued her. crows are very special birds, i hope to obtain my rescue permit for mine soon. here (canada) a rescue permit can be obtained for wildlife who are not able to be rehabilitated back into the wild, such as my bird who only has one wing.

  • i think he is trying to rape you :)

  • @MrBazzzzinga I'm neither superstitious nor ignorant, so I'm okay. Also, the lady in the video is British, and so is the crow.

  • @ccoraxfan british american what difference it makes you still stupid lol jk. I was just joking man take it easy by the way i still think seriously crow are evil omen and many american also believe that

  • @MrBazzzzinga I think superstition is foolishness, no matter how many people participate.

  • @ccoraxfan No its not foolishness its real. I hope you never have to face it - Do what you feel like doing but their are something better left alone and not to mess with...

  • AW-SOME I think your a special person above all. I have crows all around my home and they are always playing games on me. They keep you in tune with whats going on. Listen well to them they will teach you many things. :)

  • how do u even get a pet crow anyway????

  • @KittyCatTatTat459812 You'd have to obtain a license for any native wild bird, though I don't know if the US government licenses specifically for pet ownership of birds. I know they do for some wild mammals like foxes so I wouldn't be surprised.

  • 0:05 hey move imma eat you!

  • I nursed an abandoned crow chick back to health once :)

  • I know its just sitting, but it looks REALLY fat. XD

  • So cute!! Hes a hungry baby!!

  • Lol if having a pet crow would've required a license then having a parrot would've too. However, parrots are license free. I have one!

  • @White4light Parrots are not native and as a result do not fall under the same laws that crows and other native birds do in the US.

  • @MrGoCam It's not illegal *everywhere*, nor does everybody live where you live, subject to idiotic laws such as that which you refer to. And if you don't want to make people angry, don't go around telling people to respect bad laws.

  • @ccoraxfan I think you're getting a big dick over his simple comment and forewarning. No need to comment with such disdain.

  • @ccoraxfan I won't call the law bad. Considering the US's tendency to mistreat our pets and abandon exotics when they become too much for us, the laws against keeping wild birds make sense. Moreover, if everyone in the US were to take a wild bird out of the wild willy nilly you could eradicate even the most numerous of wild species.

That certainly doesn't mean that your friend did any wrong but I hope you understand why these types of laws are necessary to protect wildlife.

  • @phyvo The law is not necessary to protect wildlife. Very few people would actually want a crow for a pet, and pet birds can be bred in captivity, which makes no difference to the wild population - except that breeding them is illegal too. As for people abandoning pets, that's not something we need a total prohibition to prevent. By that logic we would outlaw pet ownership entirely.

  • @ccoraxfan Very few people might take a crow because, let's be honest, most think of crows as dirty, unclean birds. We have many beautiful native birds, some rare, which with no protection could easily be exploited. I'm not defending total prohibition itself as the best answer so much as I'm hoping you realize that some protection law is necessary and that the US's record with pets in general is very spotty, such that when the Russians bred domestic foxes they refused to sell any to us.

  • @ccoraxfan

"don't go around telling people to respect bad laws."

I concur. Here's a great summary from QualiaSoup:

"So on what do we base morality?

(Several other key points listed) ...And although whats written in law may largely reflect what a society deems right or wrong, we know law doesn't determine morality; Laws can be unjust.

When asking this question it can be useful to consider how we go about assessing moral problems."

  • @ccoraxfan my parents recently took in an "orphan" crow. turns out that baby crows will naturally jump out of their nests when they're only partially able to fly and will in fact walk around in bushes while their parents do feed them. the crow's mother would come up to our window with food in her mouth and we eventually put the baby back outside in a planting basket. the bird would jump out of it again and again. the mother fed him and the baby walked around in bushes till it could fly again.

  • @TheCJtoon Yes. It's a pigeon, one of several flying and walking around. You can also hear them cooing and flapping their wings throughout the video.

  • Google Corvid Ranch Home, liberal fag.

  • @MrGoCam

You dumb cock-sucker, there are many places that sell non-native birds for people to own, like crows, without a permit.

  • cute... demonic crow

  • *u* PIGEONS

  • He is born in February 19, 2007 so he's 5 days old. She should name it "Baby Crow- 5 days old" like the baby hawk video.

  • It's funny how a cute video of a crow can get so much unnecessary controversy. A bit late on my part but tanks for posting this, I like crows and I think they are very interesting :)

  • Not demonic or angry- that's their feeding response. It's hungry. :)

  • demonic bird says hi

  • yeah shove your fingers down it's throat LOL

  • human: awwww your so cute

    bird: feed me feed me

    human: awwww your so cute

bird: ok c'mon I am biting your finger for a reason!

    LOL

  • When I was a tiny kid my dad handed me and my brother each a bb gun and said, "Don't shoot robins" (Michigan state bird). So we looked at each other and went down a horrible path of shooting birds for "fun." If only that mindless fool had talked to us about respecting God's creatures and maybe taken us to a library to learn about them or taught us how to photograph or draw them, I wouldn't be having the flashbacks I have of these sensitive, smart, beautiful creatures dying horribly at my hands!!

  • ja ja es re rebelde este

  • That was hilarious!

  • Сука далабы ему пожрать , зачем ему твои пальцы

  • shit!!! its going to grow up and kill you

  • Just feed the bird it's sick doing what you friend is doing

  • издевается?! он же жрать просит!

  • It would of been better if you just recorded you FEEDING

the poor thing instead of pretending for the camera. I feel

bad for him/ her. Kind of mean of you doing that although

I'm sure you didn't intend to.

  • @British0Pixie Get a life

  • @British0Pixie fuck you, dumb-shit.

  • @British0Pixie If she hadn't recorded this, then you wouldn't know that a crow would do this without food being present. It serves its purpose!

  • :P we have a dove nest on our balcony :)

  • It's so cute! x'D

  • what a nice crow...

  • I want a baby crow of my very own!

  • Ok I love the bird but it's like giving me OCD for the fact she's not feeding him food lol

  • Oh gosh he is so adorable :D

Crows can be such a dear yet people always take them as a bad omen. (maybe they're just sore because they got a french fry taken)

  • @dynamo50 one stole a twinkie from me once. pissed for a second but then i just laughed. i win cus it still had the wrapper on it :)

  • OMG HE'S ADORABLE! ^_^ XDXDXD

  • He doesn't look friendly !!

  • I like this, it's like feed me, this isn't food.

  • THISSSS IS SPARTAAA

  • Awww he's so cute and has just filled up my heart with joy! And omg that's the sweetest noise ever! :)

  • Aww. He's so adorable <3

  • Oooooh, finger food!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Birds are wonderful!

  • so cute

  • aww my crow was exactly like that! :D

  • finger food

  • he sounds like an angry cat

  • it's hungry, dude. why don't you give something? like fish...

  • "puke in my mouth! PUKE IN MY MOUTH! ¤_¤ "

  • i get the same way when i dont eat =$

  • The 4 people who don't like this video have no hearts.

  • He was hungry. Hopefully is not anymore .. ;-)

  • It's cute.

A friend of ours used to have a crow named "Freddy" back in the 80s. They had to let it go after it payed a visit to the neighbors' clothesline.

  • Wow you keep pigeons too? i do too!

  • He's doing that because he thinks your giving him food.

  • ITS A CUTE LITTLE BABY! :D

  • graaahh!! gagagaaggagaaaaah!! graah!! graaaagagagagagagaaagaaaaahh!

    thts all i heard..

  • Do crows eat meat?

  • HE'S HURGEY DAMNIT!

  • I had a crow one time, I let it live outside but it often came back for visits and liver.

It died unfortunately when it was messing with the power lines.

Sadly you cant teach the bird everything.

  • "im hungry" ..."thats not food, and it tastes bad! give me food!!!!!!"

  • omg lol that is sooooooooooooooo cute u no in australia ther is alot of tham but i want to no were do u get tham

  • how could anyone not like this :> cutest thing evaaarrr!

  • cutest ever!

  • angry crow :-o

  • rofl nom...nom...NOMNOMNOMNOMNOM!!!

  • Lovely;)

  • like my girl friend ,.... XD

  • LOL the crow was like " feed me a little mouse or i am gonna cut your finger "

  • How does that NOT hurt!?

  • @Nintendokid27 He's not biting her hard. When I fed a baby bird, it would nibble like that on my fingers because he thought it was food. It just sounds scary, but if you look, the baby isn't chomping on her or anything lol. Probably tickles more than anything else.

  • its saying: FEED ME FEED ME!

  • There is a crow in the back yard of my apart complex that a local neighbors cat attacked. It's got a broken wing and hobble. When I go to get near it the other crows attack and swarm (protecting it). Thing is, even if i did get her, what would I do? I'm unemployed, no money, can't afford a big cage, have a cat myself. Any ideas?

  • @Theegamedude

Uhm lend your cat to a friend, keep the crow in your house... make a splint for the birds wing so it stays in place. Feed it, give it water. Its good you are unemployed actually because you will have to spend all hours of your day caring for it if you do decide to save the bird. Make sure you gain its trust by feeding it and what not. Reduce visual stimuli in the home, dim or turn off the lights. No tv

    askville. amazon. com/SimilarQuestions.do?req=fix+birds+broken+wing

  • @Theegamedude

If you find an injured bird and don't know what to do, the easiest thing is to see if there is a wildlife rehab center in your area that can take it in. Ask local wildlife officials or veterinarians. Otherwise you need to start educating yourself on the care of birds-- it's not an easy thing to do!

  • @Theegamedude call some animal rescue... don't handle it yourself... i know what you are thinking... but it's ok it's the right way but in either for him to get help.. you need to call an animal rescue

  • @Theegamedude yea just leave it alone, it probably wants to die with his friends and family, not in an apartment alone and with out his friends.

  • at 0:13 he was like "WTF?"

  • D'AWWWWWWWWWWWWW

  • Soft porn cat fight?

  • i would love to feed a crow a sheeps eye, or just give it a sheep giving birth.

  • angry and hungry!

  • @ikezz

Not angry at all, actually. It just sounds that way to the uninitiated!

  • D'awww, I LOVE crows!! How did you (or Alison I guess) get this beauty to start eating? I thought crows generally didn't take food from humans?

  • @InfraredCentipede

You were misinformed, apparently! Young crows, like most young birds, will take food from anybody who offers it. Any resistance due to fear is quickly eliminated by hunger, and they soon learn to trust the one who feeds them.

  • @ccoraxfan Really? Wow. Yeah, I was told crows would actually starve themselves rather than taking food from humans.

  • @ccoraxfan How can I obtain a baby crow.

  • @BeauStinsonDotCom That all depends on where you live. In some places crows are totally unregulated. In such places you can take one out of a nest and it's perfectly legal. In some places you can't take from a nest, but can take in an injured one. In other areas (like where I live) it's illegal to have a living native crow (though you can have as many dead ones as you wish, in crow hunting season). In some places you can buy an "exotic" (foreign origin) crow for a pet.

  • @ccoraxfan a bunch of shit is illegal, people do it anyways, thanks for the information, I'm not going to get a flying squirrell :)

  • It kinda sounds like a fennec fox.LOL Ravens are really smart and cool birds.

  • that thing sounds viciouse. Really cute though.

  • @LADYESCHER

They're not so vicious when they're young, but as adults they really can be!

  • lol it hates your finger or really loves it!!!!!!!!

  • @BlackByte wow

  • @saintluk2

I hope you're not looking for a job as a comedian.

  • @ccoraxfan I am not, but you should ! ;D

  • @saintluk2

The bird is more worthy of life than some scumbags who cant even manage to stay alive.

  • and at 0:19 till 0:23 he was trying to freaking eat at his best but once he licked the finger it was like at 0:24 : what's this flavour? Anyway i like it!

  • to tease him like that....and he seriously needed food xD

  • Feed the poor bird already. Why are you teasing him?

  • Parrots may be able to talk and learn, but ravens are incredibly smart also. From what I have read, ravens have the brain capacity like dolphins. They get a bad rep.

I miss the sound that baby made. I owned a raven for about 6 months, and that sound just warms my heart... I miss feeding Poe. He demanded his baby bird formula, thick, and would only eat off of a finger. That's such a sweet baby you have there! :) Enjoy him/her. Hope you can get he/she to talk!!

  • Help I found a nest with 3 baby crows and I think one is injured because only one stayed in the nest and the other two I found like 1 foot away from the nest. What do I do?????

  • Cute!

  • omg i had a baby crow and it acted just like that :) so cute x

  • THE BIRDS !!!!!!

  • what do you feed it

  • O.O so much want a crow now lol

  • so cute LOL

  • It's a cute raven, but sounds do demonic! lol i still love it!

  • @Nightraven117

Sounds like a happy fennec fox

  • so cute lol.
