  • Than you for sharing you experiences!

  • thx for your experiences.. i like your channel!! i want to do a retreat, i am a bit in fear.. can you recommend it?

  • Lots of clinging to Nama-Rupa (Name-and-Form) in the Comments, no? :)

Glad to hear you made it through the experience. Check out the documentary film "The Dhamma Brothers" to learn about some folks who did their retreat in a radically different environment. It's on Hulu.

  • Surely you are a goddess of love who fills my heart with lugubrious recalcitrance . I so like when you mention the fruit , i want to pick the fruit from your tree without any teabreak :)

  • Have u done part2

  • Nice to hear

  • A Lotus for You. A Buddha to be

  • It's sad how many of these comments fail to comprehend the meaning or importance of dignity and respect. Typical for youtube, yet I mention it because of the content of this video.

  • Everyone: google images, "asubha."

    You're welcome.

  • @Max11551 got me

  • @Max11551 cunt.

  • you are beautiful!

  • You're so pretty. Once I've transcended my desire to make love to you I will truly be a Buddha.

  • @shalom43. "Jesus" is not a Faith thing either. You have a common misunderstanding of the teachings of the man called Jesus IF you think He is a "must" in your Spiritual Life. Perhaps you would get my point if you truely meditated/prayed on the Gospel of John. Stop worshiping your Idol of Jesus and open your heart to paths you haven't traveled. (Yes I am still a Christian, baptised in '63. But my practice is more Buddhist than most "christians" would accept.

  • Hawt

  • My god, youre the most beautiful thing i've seen in a while, for real.

I could be watching you for hours.

  • I would love to try Vipassana meditation.

  • Just finished my retreat this morning. Quite a demanding but ultimately rewarding experience.

  • You're verrrrrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyy prettyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy :)

  • This video is very bad for those trying to come out of the mental impurity of passion

  • I LOVE YOU BABY.

  • why would you want it to be over quickly and nap? that's the silliest thing ever. what's the point of going if you're going to a avoid it as much as possible

  • i just came from a 3-day vipassana course. I plan to go twice a year going forward. :)

  • Youre saying dont expect major changes... I did 10 day sitting few days ago, and ill say dont expect anything, just go and do it, some people get life changing experiences some dont. I certainly did. For me it felt like raising my head above the water for the first time, and now after the 10 days its all a matter of keeping it above and then eventually come out of it totally... Its a wonderful experience! May all be peaceful!

  • Nice vid... Interesting experience... Was thinking about trying vipassana

  • the only true teachings of the Buddha...

  • @shalom43 there is nothing inherently religious in meditation. At the retreat I went to there were atheists, Christians, Jews and Buddhists. Further, Vipassana has nothing to do with faith. So though it is not religious or faith based, the experience itself is profound.

  • How can I be still and silent within if your appearance creates such a strong impulse of desire?

  • @TearedtoBits lol

  • @TearedtoBits just observe, just observe...! =)

  • @nothingnessish that which is form is equal to that which is without form and that which lives is equal to that which rests.

  • @TearedtoBits This girl is a challenge my friend from mantra to tantra , I am not here for fruit but if she offers me her fruit how can i resist? i would spin her off with some Kamasutra and have some meditation with her after that :)

  • So many persons will try everything and anything rather than submit to Jesus.

  • @shalom43 You know that, after taking this, many people *do* in fact, feel closer to God or Jesus?

  • @rockerodec Yep, I'm sure they do - sorry, I was just in a provocative mood.

  • @shalom43 there are people of all faiths taking these meditation retreats. Why condemn this method, when in fact, it can bring you closer to the God of your faith? Vipassana itself is not a religion.

  • @morna45 Okay, tell me how it can bring someone closer to the God of their faith. I know Vipassana is not in itself a faith thing, but we all need an object of faith and that must be Jesus. Why simply meditate until there is nothingness? I know a little about Vipassana because a Nepalese person who works with me practices it. To be honest, he tells me he generally falls asleep when meditating, although to be fair, I sometimes do so when I pray.

    Cont.

  • @morna45 Cont. What worries me is where the practice originates, because the persons form whom it has originated is certainly not a person of faith, as far as I can tell - neither are those such as yourself, who advocate it. No offence intended, but perhaps you need to understand better what faith really is...

  • @morna45 It may not be a "religion" but it is taught dogmaticly. Strictness is part of the method.

  • Thanks so much for your insight. I have been looking into these courses for about a week now and am quite enthusiastic to learn the techniques and undertake the course. I am just curious, do you know if anything like nag champa or sage is permitted? Particularly nag champa I would like to take on the course but i am unsure if this would be permitted. any feedback would be great. Thanks! Great video :)

  • for most of the time i watched this video, i'm only admiring your white teeth. and i think u simply love to be recording videos of yourself talking. have a nice day.

  • beginner only

  • vipassana was amazing for me too, nice to share this for the new students that are wondering what to do, yes or not?, I think you waste more time watching TV or youtube instead meditation times, they are only 10 days take it, well, cheers and by the way you're beauty :) your teeth rocks! ;)

  • Hey,u're hot

  • Where the f*** is part II?

  • where's part 2?

  • I'm Welsh but did my 2 courses in Kyoto, Japan. If you're thinking about doing the 10-day course - DO IT! It's tough at the beginning and you'll definitely think about escaping, but after a few days it becomes easier. I guarantee that at the end of the course you will be so happy you stayed. Just one more thing - the girl in this video is 100% correct saying that there is no comfortable sitting position. The point is to experience pain and work with it. Also be prepared to experience some bliss.

  • You sleep 4.30 to 6.30am ??? my god ..they are getting SLACK !

Soon it will be like a holiday camp.

  • any basis in reality for this comment?

  • this lack of proper sleep, along with this complete no speak, is what prevents their students from effectively taking any benefit from the meditation in it's basic form and take it out of purpose

  • Vipassana, i read a book on that and now im meditating as much as i can its nice :)

  • Breakfast and lunch are very delicious. I always wondered why the breakfast and lunch were so much tastier than normal. For a long time I didn't know until one day Ajahn Bhram talked about slowing down. The breakfast and lunch were very delicious because yogis were very mindful during meditation retreat. By being mindful, they are aware of different taste of the food and hence able be appreciate food better. Likewise if we are mindful we will be aware of our many defilements.

  • You have nice teeth.

  • @AWSKAR - How can you see my teeth. Thanks anyway

  • great shine in your eyes! I've been going back and forth on going to a retreat- have heard both good and bad things about the retreat. Good in that it offers the structure to go deep. Bad in that there is a bit of cult-ish mentality that does not encourage questioning, following one's own intuition, and that some of the "teachers" are a bit robot-like. Regardless, the atmosphere seems like that would provide the opportunity for growth. Check out Daniel Ingram's E-book. Great stuff!

  • Hi thank you for the video! Which country did you go to?? i'm looking at India or Japan but not sure on the best choices? i'm from UK & studying kung fu first then going to do this afterward

  • @buddha3x Kung fu is in china incl Chi Gong .. this will be for 3 mths then I want to go & do this

  • @twinturbo1988 please remove the password and username!

  • I'm doing this in HongKong in two weeks. Did you do it there?

  • Sounds wonderful. Where did you do yours? If I understand it correctly it is all donation based? What did you bring? Thanks. Tim

  • hi, what meditation centre u r talking about please?

  • @sloves2010 dhamma.org

  • @jtravelle thanks..well, in which branch centre u've done ten days course? couple of years ago i attended ten days meditation course at Dhamma ganga in Kolkata. thanks a lot for sharing ur experience

  • Thank you. I'm attending the course on Jan. 12 in Illinois. I'm definitely excited and a bit nervous. Your video helped so much.

  • u r smile is enchanting.

  • Thank you. You are beautiful.

  • Sounds like a rough schedule. haha

  • Hello, I really liked the way you started off and explained the schedule. I'm actually doing this by myself because there isn't on here in Vegas. I'm so inspired from meditations, I've been doing it all my life and I'm 37 at this post. I find that the 10 day meditation is wonderful, I've used the meditation that Roy Masters has used and I also use the 12 Powers of Man mediation as well (a variant of defocusing of chakra points). Anyhow, much love, good luck and prosperity for you!

  • thank you for sharing your experiences. I just found out there is a center in Kaufman TX, near where I live. What did you mean there are 'confrontational' aspects?

  • so true - the better looking the women the harder it is to block those thoughts.

Big up Ontario Vipassana Centre - and the Dhamma Wheel.

  • You are kinda cute, which could be distracting to the male meditators. You should do things to make yourself less attractive. May I suggest an 80's style perm for your hair. Or possibly rubbing french fries on your face every day to encourage zits. Start at the top of the head... top of the head.

  • @october4891647 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    OH MY GOD

BEST YOUTUBE COMMENT IN ALL OF HISTORY! HAHAHA

  • Lol "top of the head...top of the head"

  • @october4891647 She is perfect as she is my friend!

  • where did you do your retreat? ontario vipassana centre?

  • Yeah, I agree with Kalatiso. To even suggest that one may sleep during meditating times seems to suggest that it is somehow acceptable. To really gain full benefit and insight from the experience, one needs to apply oneself during meditation times.

Although I agree.. sleep as much as poss!! I always sleep after breakfast and after lunch.. basically I'm either asleep or meditating.

    :D

  • Thanks for your post. But I would suggest not to sleep in the rest periods (in day time), because the mind becomes dump and dull and therefore the foundation of the medition weak. I also felt this impulse to run away, but i had remind myself, that my mind is trying to trick me and get me away from meditation.

  • Thank you for sharing your experience.

I am considering to go through this, too.

  • nice!! thanks for sharing!!! i'm sure this video will help lots of people!

  • Thanks, I'm going on a retreat in 3 days. Really hoping it will help me out.

  • Thanks for sharing!
