I've had personal experiences, which lead me to believe.

Your videos are available in 720p, which tells me that this is a digital camera that you are using. The type of static/distortion (and the apparent tracking problems) evidenced in this video are typical of a traditional tape recorder. not a digital camera. I'm staying open minded, but skeptical.
