Next season, without the distraction of any Euroepean compitition all focus must turn to the league - playing an extra half a season less leaves no excuse for underperfomance. We deserve better and I for one demand it!

I put to you a scenario I see becoming very real - any finish that does not result in european compitition MUST result in the following: Hicks/Gillette must go! if they are business men and their intention is to make any kind of profit from the club they will realise that they have failed spectacularly and will be forced to invest or sell - and we all know which one of these they wont do!

Babel was two years away from the finished article when he came to anfield - nothing has changed and Rafa appears to be incapable in assisting the development of players at the club. We deserve and must demand better from all involved players and coaching staff alike.

what rafa achieved in the first season with houlliers underachievers was impressive and would assure a job for life at most other clubs - liverpool is NOT most other clubs and while his hands have been tied in the market, his attitude to players WILL make his position untenable. The squad evidently has no desire to play for a manager who cannot bring himself to show them any kind of respect - like a (tactically) inflexable father who has never hugged his children
