The Columbia Ice Field Glacier in Banff National Park

I was there in 2008, you can see what affect our global warming does to these glaciers. One of the guides told us there will be no ice field in 10 years. Go inside, look at the model they made, it's amazing how much has melted so far. When my grandchildren are old enough, I would like to show them what a wonder of nature it is. I've been around the globe, the Banff area has such an extreme temp. Walking in shorts in the valley, then a parka in the ice fields.

i always wanted to cycle up there but no cycling is allowed. Its very tempting to sneak there when nobody is around.
