Do you know how to get these mama roms running off a usb external storage device. Lets just say I can't go online with my PC nor PS3. Do you know what version of FBAnext I need? Is it possible. The VBA was easy and I have the VBA emulator SNES, Genesis emulators running off external. PLease advice. And thank you for your time!

good tutorial dude, i got everything so far i see all the roms but it says no data found this game will not run i downloaded the bios and put them in the roms folder unzipped but nothing any suggestions ?

@iReLoaded2 dahackerandrew's got a good guide, not only that-he provides a link to his custom zip file where you unzip and the neo geo and metal slug file(dont unzip these) shows up. it works with some games. kof 97,98. but my sam sho 4 dont. but check it out and dont forget to thumbs up.

Good tutorial, dude. I had to do something similar for SNES9x because the emu is retarded and doesn't save the path correctly. You should also mention that if you update the emu, you must redo the XML file, and also mention that if you save the ROMs in the installed folder, the ROMs are deleted when you delete the emu from the XMB.

@BumpingHard1 I haven't really bothered going out and searching for the perfect bios set or anything because all of the main games I wanted to play are already working.

I installed it and speed is great. Having a problem with some of these games showing up. Not sure if I'm missing the correct bios for some or not. But it works pretty damn great.

@BumpingHard1 dude I searched and downloaded from a whole bunch of sites to get most of mine. I really wasn't paying attention to specific versions or anything....this might explain why some MAME runs don't run on my system.

@fRGOFFICIAL More than likely there's something wrong with the Rom itself. A couple of my roms give me the same message. My suggestion is to download Roms in sets from torrent sites rather than downloading them individually. I've had FAR more problems downloading them from Rom Sites.

Great tut!! Everything worked out fine!! CPS1/CPS2 roms works 100%. Having trouble getting neo geo roms to work. Weird how it works on the PSP but not the PS3. Got my bios file in there. Just get a blank screen for metal slug X and 2.

I'm really confuse. I followed your instruction and I was able to create a ROMS folder, but the confusing part for me was how did you put your roms into the ROMS folder? Did you upload your roms from your computer to your PS3 through filezilla and if so how? I have a whole bunch of neo geo roms and cps2 roms that I really want to try and play but i can't cannot figure out how to do this. PLEASE HELP!

@worthy2listen2 If you created the ROMS folder you're on the right track. Next create another folder INSIDE the ROMS folder named FBA. You have to transfer all of your roms and mame bios files inside the FBA folder. They must remain zipped. There should be nothing but zip files in your FBA folder.

i`ve done step by step & in my folder dev_hdd0/game/ there`s no ROM folder created have no idea why beacause i`ve changed path like u told what could be wrong?

@konradkostka you have to create the ROMS folder within the dev_hdd0/game folder. Its not gonna be there unless you make it. Your creating 1 folder in the games folder named ROMS and inside that ROMS folder you make different folders depending on games you have. In the vid you see that I have a couple folders in there(FBA, NES, SNES Genesis) hope this helps

@solidusEE im not sure if there might be an issue with which version of the hack your on but Im using Geohots CFW. I dont trust Waninikos version. Thats the one getting PS3s bricked
