David Bowie has been making wonderful music for nigh on 40 years now. The way he constantly evolves both his own image and his back catologue of songs and still be utterly relevant never ceases to amaze me. No-one from Bowies 70's period is still making music thats worth listening to today which is testament to the mans unutterable genius. Pure aural nirvana.

How does the way he changes his music in live performance equate to him selling out? His music is available for all time in its original format for anyone to listen to, or not as the case may be.. My point is he keeps his music fresh unlike, say, the Stones who have been touring the world forever playing the same songs in the same style to the same crowds. All i'm saying is the majority of artists are happy to stick to a winning formula for their entire careers whereas Bowie isn't.
