@DFresh236 Install was very easy. Takes only about 30 minutes, and that is if you really don't know what your doing. Only need some basic common tools. No sensor issues at all.
I tried lookin for this intake I just cand find it no results come up when I put down my model lik if they dint mak them for my ride an I hav the same ride as u. Did u get it of any site?
@garthmercer I noticed gains of about 10hp. As far as fuel efficiency, i get about 21.5mpg on 93 octane now, where before it was 23mpg. Not that drastic of a reduction, but, there was a small one.
I heard you lose low end torque with this Intake. You gain high end torque. I also does not have a heat shield which means it will stuck in warm air when engine is hot.
hey man im lookn to get an cai, which would u recommend to be the best...also did u have to recalibrate ur ecu in order to alllow the computer to such in the extra air, or did that car automatically accept the increase?
question for you, ive installed intakes on other cars like toyotas etc, do you think i will be able to install it on a 2006 325i? im just getting the car and am not familiar with how easy or difficult it is to access the engine components
Thi is the exact intake i want to install on my Black Metallic 2006 325i 6 speed. how difficult was it to install? what about the sensor?

It does have a heat shield, and reduces hot air from getting into the intake.

installation is very easy. it comes with step by step instructions and can be installed within 30min to an hour, depending on how handy you are.

no recal needed. its all plug and play. you use the same air sensor from the stock intake.

The sound on these are awesome. Below 3000 RPM its quiet, but once you get above the daily cruising rpm and into 4k+ it just screams!
