Jealous that I was bringing in a group from his beloved Rhymesayers camp, who he tries so hard to emulate, he made the choice to lie about his position within the Chamber Bar although he was repeatedly contradicted by the rest of the staff. Having little knowledge of hip hop, other than likely getting ahold of mix cds I made back in the day as his introduction, he set up a "hip hop" festival, which only took place because of an If He Dies He Dies reunion. Mostly indie/acoustic/rock acts booked
he still tried to pass it off as a "hip hop" festival, despite the vast majority of the hipster rappers he booked having been involved in hip hop for 5 years or less. I was going to ignore the lack of respect of the culture until I found out that he booked his girlfriend to perform. After hearing the horrible excuse of a Dessa rip off, I was done playing the nice guy to someone who'd been talking shit behind my back for a decade.
