You can laugh at Phil Gordon and say anything you like, like a lot of you have chosen to do so. But I can tell you one thing. I've read Dan Harrington's book 'Harrington on Hold'em'- a GREAT book by the way. It made me a better player. But havin' watched this 10 part series have REALLY heightened my play! I think Phils a genius in explainin' the game in the easiest and most digestible way while still makin' you think about your game. Top notch! I finally feel like my game is startin' to pay off

Phil Gordon is an overrated player. We were placed on the same table on the first day of 2006WSOP and his play was completely atrocious. One hand in particular he called big bets the whole way to the river with an obvious flush draw and made the classic amateur blunder of bluffing a busted flush draw against a calling station.
