Thank you for all the comments ! Unfortunately Murph died very suddenly months ago, their was nothing the vet could do.. However he was the best pet I ever owned. If you are looking into getting one for yourself do not be discouraged by my loss ! They do require extreme care but the connection I made with my cham was well worth it!!
@lizzardskynard Keep working with him, the first few months i had mine he would his at me whenever i got too close. Try affiliating yourself with the things he likes.. FOOD use a pair of tongs and try feeding that way... than once hes used to that, try holding him and have him eat out of your hands(make sure their clean), than he will start to get use to him and you will learn how to read him and if hes diggin it or not. They have moods and change colors accordingly, keep an eye out for that.
@molly101390 the cage was around $40 i think, I personally would look into something that sits above the ground so it will be easier to clean, very important to keep the bottom of the cage free from bacteria !
i have a jackson chameleon he is like a year old his name is Reggie and i wish i had that cage that awsome your chameleon must be happy
