  • bette midler... malisimaaa, y otros mas, q pedorros!

  • Never trust compilations where songs are numbered in places. It is just uploader's (or someone other's) opinion. It is impossible to pick top 10 songs from the 80's. Its like to pick the best song of the life of all mankind. Sold albums are the best indicator.

  • shit!!!!!

  • Where the hell is back in black?!

  • QUEEN \m/ FREDDIE MERCURY (Y)

  • TOP-10 SONGS of BILLBOARD.... but not MY BOARD... however I like few songs in this video.. Thank you.

  • Queen one of the best ever

Woman In Love - Barbra Streisand 7. Rock With You - Michael Jackson 6. Another Brick In The Wall - Pink Floyd 5. Upside Down - Diana Ross 4. Lady - Kenny Rogers 3. Do That To Me One More Time - Captain & Tennille 2. Call Me - Blondie 1. Another One Bites The Dust - Queen

  • 1980 Great music year! then in 1981:The Rose by Bette Midler wont grammy song of the year LOL

  • why must people criticize music that not from the 80s? i like 80s music and everything else! i will listen to any music. i dont understand why people are so protective of 80s music like its some retarded person who has feelings or something. you dont need to say that todays music sucks and only 80s music is good. only if people would stop being protective jerks, the world might be a little beter..... or not

  • @KirbyDaMaster

    true shit!!!!

    i agree

  • anyone know the song 'takiing me high to the sky your love forever makes me 'like that she says end of the song

  • Comment removed

  • i agree on these being top 10 of the 1980s

  • Actually, mate, It was Paul and Wings' live version of comin' up, that was considered the A-side, here in the states.

  • Wow, Toni Tenille looks smokin' hot...and where is the captain's hat??

  • Well, my favorites, MJ and Queen are in... thanks

  • Sorry but this is a rly bad selection.

  • AHH the 80S

  • where is AC/DC with any song from Back in Black LP?

  • co to za nuta 2.25?

  • Nice to see that this is one of the first videos on "top 10 songs" search. Now we can hope kids will know what is REAL music.

  • 'Coming Up' made the top ten, let alone the top 1000 of 1980!!! If Paul McCartney hadn't been an ex-Beatle any label would have laughed a piece of shit song like that out of the office. And where are the actual seminal artists: Joy Division, Bowie, The Jam? This is a joke, surely.

  • @mgo26 Mate, it's at times like these that I go down on my knees and pray to the great lord above and thank him that I was born English. Capt. & Tenille? Macca? ONJ? Can only assume this is based on US sales coz otherwise it's ridiculous. Let's just content ourselves by laughing at the septics. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

  • i wish i could go back to the 80's again.

  • can someone please guess the 80's song in my video, no idea and its bugging me : (

  • number 6 and 2 were the only good ones

  • Pink Floyd, Blondie and Queen are the only decent songs...

    almost as bad as 1982...

  • Pink Floyd !!! And I was born in 1986

  • omg- had NO IDEA Paul McCartney sung COMING UP.. wow...ty- great list to drive down memory lane....

  • And at the New York fashion show this week, designers are now favoring the NINETIES as a RETRO fashion decade! Now I feel old!

  • Another brick in the wall ruined a lot of people's lives

  • I'm pretty miffed at what came in at #2, that has never been one of my favorite songs, and the movie is plain creepy

  • This really brings back some memories!

  • Pink Floyd should of been number one, but all good songs :)

  • R.I.P old songs Lol

  • This video and group suck

  • IM 18 years old and i listen to this and older, its unfair to say my generation doesnt listen to good music, though i agree most of the music that is coming out these days isnt any good.

  • @saury272 "hi im 50000 yeas old and i listn to this music" who cares how old you are its normal for young people to listen to old music because its real music

  • pinkfolyd is classic

  • I disagree with this video Michael Jackson-Rock with you is no 1 not that crap music that is called it u call me blone.

  • @626Rosa626 Billboard goes by sales, not opinions

  • AC/DC?

  • @musclecar771 guess they didnt get popular in the states til 81

  • Crazy Little Thing Called Love was from 79.

  • I thought Paul McCartney's Coming Up was from about 76.

  • @PupuTheClown no, came out in april of 1980, and by june it was a number 1 hit. but Wings was singing this song as part of their tour of the UK in early 1979. great song though.

  • ,,I like the live version much better, he probably had the studio version recorded by the time Back to the egg was released but didn't release it just like Goodnight Tonight.

  • @PupuTheClown yeah, the live version is cool. i read somewhere that "Coming Up," was actually featured on the last album under the monkor of the band "Wings," but titled, "McCartney II," as the band "Wings," was kind of in limbo. but you're right, i have yet to hear a live track by Wings or Paul McCartney that isn't good.

  • lol Paul McCartney.

  • no 1 like lady gaga

  • @encik9 yeah the women from the 70s and 80s were beautiful and she ISNT!!!! SHES THE FUCKING UGLIEST SACK OF FEMALE SHIT that EVER WALKED THE EARTH!!!!!

  • King Of 1980 MJ

  • alvin and the chipmuck version is better of funky town

  • wat about dont stop beilieving by journey!!!!!

  • no mamees weeey That music you put in the video are some of all the best 80s songs. . but you put Songs that where more good than that mutherfucker thing!!!

You forgot Eye of the tiger ,Africa,99 Red ballons, I will survive, BILLIE JEAN, And even more songs that are mor good than that!!!!!!!!!!! (HHHHHHHHHHHH)'

    Semeeeenn!!!!

    8===============D'

    Cumm!!!!!

  • @BGMJ2PAC They're songs from 1980..Did you not see the "80" part?? All of those songs came after 1980. Omg.

  • 1980

  • Hey this is great! How do I get a copy for a birthday party?

  • What has happened to music? Why is it so boring now. What have people done to music. Songs in the 80's are music not crappy boring f---ed up songs these days.

  • #7 song is so weird for so many reasons.

  • i wasn;t born in the 80's unfortunately but the songs such as the queen and micheal jackson rocks and will still rock out compared to todays songs altough i am still young.

  • 30 years later :-o

  • The best decade.

  • I disagree with some of your pic's for best 80's......Still a great video!! Thanks

  • omg mj he was star int 80s also

  • hey I was 5 in 1980 LOL

  • wow your so old

  • Pink floyd and the conspiracy theory! hahhahaha

    Now this song makes sense!

  • Pink floyd and the conspiration teory! hahhahaha

    Now this song makes sense!

  • Kurt Cobain used to sing this (The Rose) live in concert, dressed in a flowing white robe, like someone in a mental assylum.

  • I feel uneasy

  • Michael Jackson is unbreakable! R.I.P from sweden

  • What song was hot June Fourth 1980. In other words my Birthday.

  • It is amazing how in just two short years Michael Jackson went from Off the Wall which was disco to Thriller which was history-making.

  • why isnt thriller number 1? its still the best selling video TODAY.

bs! mj should be 1st, hes the king of pop, expessially in the 80's

  • Because Thriller did not come out until 1982. These are the best songs of 1980 the year.

  • Correct,but this deals with songs from 1980.NOT 1980'S.Big difference.LOL.

  • @cheerleader457 This is 1980 not 1984. Thriller album came out in 1982 the single wasn´t released until december 1983 or January 1984 and reached no.4 It was never top 10 on the end year chart.

  • A fascinating thought would be to go back in time, find Debra Harry and tell her that people would be dancing to her music in clubs for another thirty years. She would probably look at you with bloodshot bleary stoned eyes and tell you to ease off the drugs a bit. A hell of a concept given how hard she was doing heroin back then. Regardless, she does rock and still does.

  • this is shit michael jackson suppose to be number one

  • 80's belong to Michael jakson the king of pop

  • 6:40 Another Brick In The Wall,CHILD LABOUR loloooollol im just 14 what can i say?

  • Amazing how fast time goes by... and how musical creativity seems to have vanished in the haze of a glorious past. There may be a few good songs out there today, but they all pale by comparison before the fantastic music of the 70's and 80's.

  • tottaly agreed

  • You are totally right, songs just aren't the same today as they were in the 80's and 90's

  • @gabstanace #3 song that the exercise lady that sings lets get physical.

  • @gabstanace i agree 100%, not because i was a part of that era but music lost its soul. There are a handful of talented bands around and a crap load of one hit wonders, it's like some one turned on the tap of 'how to make a quick buck'.

  • @gabstanace I agree with you 100% where did it all go wrong? I think the rot set in around early 1988. As soon as hip-hop/rap was finally recognised as 'music' the game was up.

  • The Wall was released at the end of 1979 in Novenber or december geraldo so it was obviously on Billboards charts in 1980

  • You do an awesome job with your videos!

  • Another bricl in the wall was created in 1979 by Roger Waters, this top 10 is wrong

  • it's ok. it's not that important

  • This is about what was popular during the year 1980, not what when it was created. If that were the case, then Michael Jackson should not be on here since the "Off The Wall" album was recorded and released in 1979. And the first two singles were released in the summer and fall of 79.

But again, they were hits in 1980. And you can't deny "The Wall" as it dominated 1980 and beyond!

  • Bette Midler's "The Rose" was originally a hit in 1979 and but it was a hit for her in 1980 that it was getting enough radio airplay.

  • Best song was Call Me by Blondie...

  • The best one is by far the song #2, Another brick in the wall (Pink Floyd)

  • wonderful job! Thanks for posting
