I was lucky enough to hang out with Roy the other day. I believe this is the Phantom Movers and I saw them open for Rev Horton Heat at a club in SJ back in the 90's.

Roy Loney is one of the nicest guys in Rock'n'Roll , he lives for this stuff like our great friend , Cub Koda , did. And , oh , yeah ,he's still got GREAT HAIR. THIS IS SO COOL , THANK YOU.

I love this clip. Never got to see Roy in his prime. Could you post the whole show?? There is also spose to be a Flamin Groovies (circa 1971) PBS local KSAN TV show. Anyone have that??? AWESOME stuff!! Thankyou!!!

hi chuck , sorry to dissapoint you but the video that i have does not enclude roy loney, as he left the band earlier on in their carrier.

chrie wilson took over vocals and then this long haired blond guy ( can,t remember his name at the moment) .

the video features the blond guy .

if you check out the youtube ,(shake some action ,live tv show 1986), you will see the long haired guy .

i have the live gig on video somewhere ,so if you are interested i will try and find it out for you :) .
