Damn, this woman is so incredibly insulting and offensive - how can people actually listen to her generalised insults towards ALL muslims and not think she's a bigot?! Even her comments about how muslim converts are criminals, losers who have nothing to live for hence they convert.

If she did some research, she'd see the majority of converts, especially in the US (16,000 of 20,000) convert through personal research and are very successful, good, normal people.

Also, have to add, the majority of converts not only are normal, successful law abiding citizens, but they are WOMEN! More women convert to Islam than men, this is especially evident in the U.S - it is also the case in Europe.

So not wearing the veil doesn't automatically mean the person is not Muslim. So appearance is only one tenant of Islam (veil). But I hope no body judges "Irshad Manji" based on appearance (i.e. wearing or not wearing the veil). I hope Muslims don't always judge other Muslims. The veil is required by Islam but this doesn't give any Muslim the right to judge a woman just because she is not wearing the veil. Islam is not only about the veil
