This means China would still be in semi-colonial and semi-federal state. You might think "so what" but not to those who have witnessed slaughters by those ruthless and merciless invaders. I remembered I used to learn this song when I was young, they also taught use that hard working people deserve high respect and everything; they taught us it's a shame to lie or take short cuts; they taught us that one should make one's life counts. Thru as time passing by I found everything is so different, I'm so sad bcoz I think those words r so right. Finally I can say I'm in a right place again. Bt I won't forget this red star, it'll forever shine in my heart, it's where I came from.
