  • U guys should watch rc adventures project overkill build series by djmedic2008

  • thats awesome ive always wanted to do that but never had the time

  • that is so cool

  • How much,

  • how much was that truck and wear did you get it

  • did you make this plow or did you buy it i really want one because i live in minnesota and we get snow so please tell me or if your willing to sell

  • I just got a tonka xt ricochet stunt pro but its not as good as that

  • and it only takes 4 hours and 3 charges on the battery!

  • i made a snow plow for my rc car

  • i officially love you. you can have my wife.

  • @birddseedd

Hahahaha, thanks a lot but I've got one of those already, I don't think I could handle two!

  • @froshmasta caint handle the one i have :)

  • where do you live that it snows that much

  • do not say esay

  • who did you bild it

  • im new to this stuff and i want to buld one of my own is that a 2WD or a 4WD

  • would sell the truck and plow?

  • @TheMcha13

I cannot sell them, I'm too attached to them. Sorry. Thanks for your interest though.

  • nice, would take a while to plow though ;)

  • now get your doggy to clean the driveway :D great work!!

  • what truck is this?

  • Who said snow plowing couldn't be fun

  • =D

  • hey cool plow how do u make it turn and make it go up and down oh by the way how do u control the servo

  • The epitome of american laziness..

  • If you dont know or do but haven't already you should try ballooning your electronics.

Take a normal balloon (as close to part size as possible) take the "motor" and stick it in a balloon use a pin to poke a tiny hole and stretch it around the gear.. Do with any and all electronic parts. It will still have tiny leaks but really comes in handy if you plan on running thru puddles and ur not sure how wet u may get your truck.

  • @Aweber87

I do know the balloon trick. In fact in my junk somewhere I have some original 80's Tamiya balloons that came in a package for weatherproofing electrics. My truck doesn't see much liquid water, mostly snow or dry conditions but I have taken the receiver and ESC apart and hosed them down with Rust Check spray. It's a non-conductive water repellent. They seem to be doing pretty well so far.

  • @froshmasta What brand/type is this car?

Im new to this, and Im wondering where I can buy this. Please respon - Derrick

  • u should put 2 tekin t35 or sumthing on there that way you could get the snoww were u want it

  • @dirtshower250

I've thought about dual motors but I'm running a single 15t Venom motor right now and it has enough power to break gears if I get a tire wedged when I'm trailing or crawling with the truck. When I'm plowing snow I run out of grip long before I run out of grunt.

  • @froshmasta yea you probably shouldn't then because your gonna have to upgrade alot of stuff and i dont know if the tmaxx trans will hold up

  • That is so awesome!! beats shoveling the driveway.

  • @ThePantyDroper

It's not a complete practical replacement for shovelling but it is a hell of a lot more fun :)

  • wered u get that??////?//??//

  • that thing does pretty good in the snow. I didn't see the truck slip once. Great video!!

  • @85projectcar

It does pretty well. I think the locked rear diff really makes all the difference.

  • @froshmasta how did u make ur locker?

  • @dreadnaught6399

I opened up the diff and filled the centre of it with some kinda black windshield sealant goo stuff. It has a tiny bit of give but stays locked most of the time.

  • now can you make me one tht does my home work

    lolz jk

  • @TheNhhs2008

    Hahaha, Good idea!

  • OMG you lazy son of a bitch WHahahaha i laught my face off.

    it looks very nice great

    Greats from holland

  • Now this takes lazy to a whole new level. -Thinks- I NEED THIS. props bro.

  • @awwwsnaps

It takes a lot of work and years of practice to be this lazy!

  • Yeah this is the one :D

  • was ist das für ein schild

  • nice

  • use a gas rc dumy

  • @thecannon43

While I appreciate your compelling and informative argument for the use of a nitro R/C truck for plowing snow... Here are some reasons why I don't:

    1. Electrics are way easier to start in cold weather.

    2. My neighbors don't have to listen to the obnoxious screaming of a nitro truck.

    3. Electrics don't smoke or get covered in fuel residue.

    4. Fuel for my trucks costs me a few pennies of electricity for each run instead of expensive specialty fuel.

    5. Electric = low RPM torque.

  • @froshmasta well gas ones u have lot more time to use insted of charging how cars about Ur neighbors + more fun faster stronger and much more

  • @thecannon43

I think you might be asking "who cares about your neighbors?" there. The answer is that I care about them because they're nice folks and as a responsible homeowner on the street I try to get along with everyone else.

My plow truck runs 15+ minutes on a charge and I can easily charge several of my packs before I head out.

If you like nitro R/Cs that's great for you. I'm just glad nobody near me has any so I don't have to listen to them.

Happy R/Cing, however you do it.

  • @froshmasta I feel ya, You gotta be too courteous of your surroundings with nitro... theyr TOO loud, A TAD BIT too fast(...sometimesss >:-) ) and the maintainability of a electric is just wayyy better!.

  • @thecannon43 most retarded statement ever affiliated with R/C.

  • @froshmasta yahhh wahtt he' said

  • @froshmasta good arguments but the battery is draining much quicker in the cold

  • @m93sek no. no it isnt.

  • @froshmasta not to change the subject but if you take r/c out of the conversation it sound like you have a prius...

  • @yzs4life

Haha, no thanks :) I'll stick to my efficient 4cyl gas powered cars instead.

  • @froshmasta haha good choice

  • @thecannon43 Hey... you're a dick dummy.

  • would take you a month to clear the snow at that rate

  • @jonb5150

I think you underestimate the speed and misunderstand the intent of the machine.

  • LUV IT! pity its useless where i live... australia

  • @skinnyfish111

Haha, I think you're better off in the long run without the snow... But maybe you could use a similar rig to chase poisonous critters away or something. :)

  • sweeett where can i buy 1.. i can plow my sidewalk from my window lol

  • @THERIPPER216

Thanks! You can buy it in the same place I did: build it yourself. Check the video description for information.

  • Very creative brother... Pretty effective to... *thumbs up*

  • @ltmote

    Thanks!

  • Might as well put a handful of salt on the bed of that thing.

  • @Momomohf

Maybe someday I'll rig up a spreader :)

  • see mine and sub please

  • AWESOME. I want one of those^^

  • @LuigiAnnemone

Thanks! Check out the videos regarding the construction of the truck. Maybe you can start building your own!

  • that is just awesome!

  • @george72369

    Thanks!

  • if i had that thing i wouldnt mind shoveling the sidewalk/driveway

  • @coopscool4

It does inject a little fun into a normally mundane task!

  • lol thats awesome

  • @dellHF229H

    Glad you like it, thanks!

  • sounds like you need a tune up

  • @myshorts100

Nah, she runs top notch. Nice and slow as per my intent.

  • kewl now you can plow from inside your home

  • @willghass

At least enough to have some fun anyway. Thanks for watching!

  • lazy pour lazy

  • oh yea i hear all that

  • thats cool

  • @TheRedneckmarine24

    Glad you like it, thanks!

  • @froshmasta how hard was it to build and how long did it take you?

  • @TheRedneckmarine24

Check out the two videos linked in the description of this one to see how it all goes together. I have no idea how long it took because I worked on and off at it for a while. I wouldn't say it was very hard to build but it took some mental gymnastics here and there to make parts fit around each other or together as the situation required.

  • thats ford power

  • @forrdmannn

This just might be the best electric Ford truck around! :)

  • when i have to shovel the driveway i would use that out a window sure beets the cold weather

  • @AReallyRandomGuy

It's awesome until you get it stuck :) Oh well it's fun anyway!

  • how long does the stock battery last

  • @raptor250gonecrazy

The truck is entirely custom built so there is no "stock" battery but I'm currently using 3000mah nimh battery packs and they last about 20 minutes. Thanks for watching!

  • thats not very hard to do. most people are amazed with stuff like that. its pretty much just some linkage attached to a servo. im 14 and i could do that. i just think its a waste of time and parts. but although i am lazy and i think thats cool.

  • for sale?

  • @way2muchNFO

    One milllllllllllion dollars! *Dr. Evil*

    :)

  • sweeeeet

  • @yamahafan817

    Thanks for your comment!

  • did u buy this

  • @zombieshot1

Nope, the truck and plow are all one-of-a-kind hand built.

  • did u buy this

  • Hold on mam! This could take awhile!

  • how many MHz's is that

  • @Btm101productions

Are you asking about the radio system? I'm just using a regular Traxxas TQ3 radio system.

  • what is the plow made of

  • @76popsbrockway

The plow is thin gauge sheet metal. Look for more detail about it in an upcoming video.

  • COOL

  • @rulo542

    Thanks!

  • That is a powerful im suprised

  • OMG! I was acctualy opened mouth while watching this kool thing! What a great ideia! You don't need to stay in the snow, and is almost efficient as using a shovel!

  • damn you cant even handle that

  • You need R/C windshield wipers otherwise your R/C driver won't be able to see.

  • nice work

  • what brand is that truck

  • how did you make that?

  • Wow now i can plow snow in front of my house INSIDE my house :D

  • Would it be possible to put a plow on a stampede vxl?

  • @TheCraZeRC

try it out and see for yourself

  • EPIIC!!!!!!!

  • look dude i want the traxxas emaxx but like the play time is only like 20 mins and then i want the axial scx10 but thats not water proof and its a small light truck but will last like an hour for play time so help me out emaxx has its good and bads scx10 has its good and bads..

  • @kx85kid12

Unfortunately I'm not authority on what the future you is going to like. As far as I understand those two trucks the e-maxx is more of a big basher truck and the scx10 is a scale trail/crawling type truck. Pick which one you think you're more interested in and go for it. As far as I know they're both great trucks.

  • @froshmasta well yeah i know idk dude

  • @kx85kid12 you can make the truck heavy by adding sticky wheel weights to the rims, also trim your tire foam so the tires are softer, buy traxxas electronics to make it waterproof or put them in an electronics box. You can also get a tamiya hard body so you have a real truck bed to put more weight in.

  • @kx85kid12

yo man i have a traxxas slash 4x4 with a 2cell 8000mah battery and i get about 45 mins of run time, it's water proof, and it will do 60+ mph great toy u should try it

  • @kx85kid12 yo man i have a traxxas slash 4x4 with a 2cell 8000mah battery and i get about 45 mins of run time, it's water proof, and it will do 60+ mph great toy u should try it

  • @kx85kid12 buy another battery for the emax...you will regret not getting the emaxx if you get the scx10

  • @kx85kid12 You've probably already chosen by now, but I made a snow plow for my E-maxx and it works great. I really wish it had lockers when I'm pushing snow with it, but overall it's a beastly basher on week nights and a respectable snow plow on weekends.

  • @kx85kid12 Your playing time depends on the battery you are using, lets say the scx10 comes with an 7,4volt 5400 mah liper polymer battery and the Emaxx comes with two 8,4 v nimh battery at 2000 mah. Thats what matters, put two 11,1 lipo batteries in the emax and enjoy somthing abaut an hour of playing time, worked for my rc car ask at your local hobby shop they usually have lot of experience ready to be shared. Lipo`s are expensive tho

  • Holy crap! This is a great idea!!! I know you think it's just a toy, but I'm going to source some of these to give jobs to other wheelchair users like me, or worse off. I've always thought it would be a good job for the disabled to plough snow, as we're always up early in the morning and bored.

  • @BobbyIronsights

That sounds like a great project to try. Get building and see what you can come up with!

  • @BobbyIronsights

Hello mate i`m a chair user as well an totally agree with your comments, have you had any luck in making one

yet ? I`m bang into my rc stuff and with the snow over here at the moment its a right pain, i done a home made one with a rc tank (nothing like these with servos) seems to do the job but would rather get into making these. Have a look at my page, if your still interested in biulding these i`m interested send me a message.

    jaime

  • i have that for my rc 4x4 jeep lol it comes in handy

  • how much would you sell that for

  • so is it hard to make

  • next to install windsheild wipers LOL.

  • cool rc snow plow

  • cool rc snow plow

  • kool vid i got a way of helping u wit traction i make snow chains 4 rc cars

  • thats sooo cool i want one

  • yoooo that is sickk!! lol how did u get the plow on ther n how did u make it??

  • that trucks a beast

  • I have to buy a plow for my E Maxx or I will have to just have to design one. Any ideas?

  • 2 lieter bottle garbage can (plastic or tin)

  • Comment removed

  • I'm just using a single Mabuchi or Johnson 540 motor. The standard "silver can" motor that used to come in most kits.

  • Did you try maybe a goat crawler combo or just a drill motor

  • No need for an expensive new motor/esc combo. I've got all the power I need from that silver can motor. The truck runs out of weight and traction long before it runs out of grunt.

  • Nice build though never thought a little 540 silver can do that how much could it plow looking to build a plow for a Cc01 chassis i'm getting

  • It's all about gearing. The final drive ratio is over 80:1 so that little silver can and wind up and spin happily. It doesn't go much faster than you see when it's plowing. top speed is about brisk walking pace to give you an idea of how tall the gearing is.

  • I love gearing the crap out of any motor

  • That's the spirit! Cheers, mate.

  • Yeah! have a nice day!

  • hell ya that is what i need. is it a tamia or somethin. and where did u film it

  • Like it says in the video description I built the truck out of t-maxx parts and some aluminum. It is one-of-a-kind.

The video was taken in my driveway.

  • nice

  • where did you get that?!?!?!

  • how did u mak that plow

  • hey what kind of truck do you hav the plow on?

  • you actually have fun doing that

  • that must take a while

  • Ford RC Truck.

  • cool men.

  • he put on his fuse box connected to the batteries on the reiciever that recieves singal and probalbly has a toggle switch moving the plow

  • how do you get the plow to move up and down?

  • just another servo im guessing

  • hey!!!!!!! that little car can help if ur family is snow plowing!!!! u gust sit! then control ur little car!

  • ESP Hobby Manufacturing makes a kit for T-Maxx/E-maxx for like $100. It's got a servo operated lift system.

  • what did you use to make it go up and down.

  • servos

  • That must have serious grip!!! I didn't even spin a little bit. I don't like cold weather but that's awesome!!! : D

  • can you mack me one how much is it??

  • Awesome where did you get the plow?

  • @silverperzon

The plow is homemade. I'm working on a video giving more detail of how the truck and plow are put together. Should be ready to post someday soon.

  • @silverperzon U have to make one...or at least I think u have to.

  • @countryatvboy

    DIY FTW!

  • what kind of truck is it and sounds like it has a lot of power, to plow the snow

  • How do u make 1 of them. I want 1 so badly

  • I ahve the same body for a crap truck i have its a toy but im making it a plow too

  • Comment removed

  • cool! that truck must be heavy to turn the wheels on the snow

  • That is awesome.. hours of fun. How long did it take you to buil
