Wow..I'm just wondering what kind of life experience they had to make them this way. This is what I see on the campus where I work. They have high ideals, but only for segregated populations + issues, and it doesn't seem to carry over to anyone that doesn't agree with them. Who pays the union worker? Is it not the consumers of the goods and services that purchase them? So when unions demand more money, they dont' take them from the rich, but from the average consumer. No, as an ultra old schooler, I beleive in tariffs to equal out trade gaps in regional inflation. But this has nothing to do with regional inflation, or tariffs, and how with shipping and other considerations already defend domestic labor. Its about how union labor is so expensive, there is no way for it to compete against anyone, in fact, it can't compete without competition. Union labor is so high, nobody can pay it, and afford the goods and services they create.

Cheap Chinese labor is only used because union labor is cost prohibitive. No consumer can afford to buy union made goods, especially poor consumers. Unions have destroyed the industries, and forced Americans to import goods that cannot be made at home.

Who fights for using credit to redistribute wealth? Progressives. Who has built the massive system of borrowing money for homes, and engineered the current housing crisis? Progressives.

Again, there is no redistribution. Capitalists don't redistribute anything, people simply earn what they earn. Cutting taxes doesn't give anybody money, it just lets people keep their fairly earned money, and there is no redistribution about that. The only fair wage is one that is earned, not threatened or coerced, nor corruptly given by taxation and spending.

Why should the ownership class get to take in disproportion to their giving? Why can we not seek better?
