Are they barbs? nozzles? compression fittings? please help im confused lol ~Also is there anything else you recommend getting for the setup? i dont mean for other hardware, i mean other parts that are needed for the exos-2.5 Thanks.

100% Percent non conductive and Non Corrosive? ... that Sounds Nice , (Yes I've Seen the Motherboard run for 2 week submerged in Oil) I myself Wouldn't trust it for a Couple of thousand in P.C Parts that often is a 10% Gain in Performance and I was going to Keep for a year or two , If you got a Sponsor and What to go for High -end benchmarks ,have at it... (For the Average P.C owner , there isn't a Huge Difference between 4.2ghz on Air or 4.6 ghz on Coolant) Do what you like.......
The type of hoses available for P.C. water cooling are quite fail safe. They WILL outlast the P.C. itself. Liquid cooling these days really is D.I.Y. However, it really isn't that necessary and the reference cooler is designed to be more than capable. Liquid cooled systems are alot more quiet than a fan turned 100% (sounds like a jet) while being more efficient.
For Sure that's true , But I'm not sold on Liquid Cooling , It gets you around 10% more performance than a high end Air Fan ,So for Cost/Performance it fails , Xbox 360's fail because of Cheap Parts/Poor design that made in the 2nd or 3rd World ) Google for Xbox being made in a re-tooled ex Lada car plant, that says everything right there.......
well the price of a good air cooler like the thermalright copper is only 20 bucks cheaper than a 5970 waterblock which is one of the more expensive blocks out..
if you look at the cpu blocks they are even cheaper than the thermalright,,and they take up alot less space. And you have to admit, water cooling just looks bad ass.
Wow the xbox is just a pile of junk,,all the way around,,,ive had 2 die on me so far..working on the third..lol
@mrjamesb56 I have a sense that Thermalright is on it's way to design and construct powerful air coolers, but according to my opinion they have to wait until the prices of these cards become affordable. So, they would have a chance to a serious selling percentage for their future air cooling solutions.
@nauls82 Yes, always provides excellent ventilation that hardware to work optimally, have a good performance and useful life is complete. recalls that the Xbox 360 is marked "Factory Overclocked" without ventilation.
Hmm sadly that's true, is there any other gpu with the same layout that would have a common waterblock. the only ones i can find cost more than the card itself...
@rain0x1 Most of the coolants are rated for a couple thousand hours. You will notice the coolant start to calcify (Looks like snot) This would be a good indicator that it's time to change it. Even if you don't see this start to happen I would still change it after a couple thousand. Otherwise you may end up blocking your water blocks and rendering them to a lower heat transfer rate and increasing the calcification exponentially.
Less? doubt it. ATI has always been better value for money and would adjust they're prices accordingly. But I'd be surprised if it doesn't out perform the 5870. Oh yeah, the 5870 is single GPU......
A great looking waterblock, now if only you could replace the bracket to a single slot solution. But I guess it's not gonna be an option on this vard due to all the connectors.
Lmao... I love how you can see the Thermaltake SpinQ (shit) behind the cards, despite the water-cooling loop. Trub is both a noob and artist of product placement.
Actually the Spin Q performed flawlessly, with the fan set to 100%, it cooled the I7 920 to 28'c with a 4.35GHz OC...not bad for cooling on air, also don't forget, this isn't my daily use rig, this is my test bench where things are allowed to go "BANG!"....Thanks
Depends on airflow and ambient temps of course. I'm actually fine with it, seeing as we work with what we have at the time. I'm loving these Winter temps. My ambient is 20C and my GTX285 stays at a nice 30C under load on an MCW60. PHENOMENAL
impressed tbh, Koolance have definitely improved the way they machine cut their blocks, cant believe how small that block looks when installed on the card , those 5890's really are massive
You need to purchase a hose about half the size of an average fire brigade version in order for it to connect to your outdoor tap. Then you simply buy the appropriate size converter to merge the hose into the water block. When in operation, fresh volcanic water will then start to spurt out the exit point. Once the water is acquired, simply pour into desktop/laptop and your system is now water cooled!.....
Why not? How does your 9600GT in any way relate to a COMPLETELY different architecture, clock speed and video card? In case you didn't know, your 9600GT is a single GPU card, and isn't even close to as powerful as even ONE of the GPUs in the 5970.

@CrzayMazy thats true. if it was constant 50 fps, then the difference wouldnt notice. but since when you drop a nade, destroy a building or shoot an rpg frames usually drop 5 - 10 or even more then is good to have more heardroom
Damn the koolance has done such a good job. so much difference in temps with the stock ari cooler aint did.
Damn i just cant wait i wanna rudh into the stores and buy 1x HD5970 but something stops me. dunno should i wait for the gtx395 will there be so much difference.......
It ain't out and while I agree that it will probably be a failure for gaming, there is no way of knowing that it will cost a shitload and they would never release a card that overheats to the point of failure or crash, ati and nvidia always have a "good enough" heat sink for their cards. It isn't going to be out for a good while so that definitely is a huge mistake IMO. Also how is your comment relevant beyond the fact that there is a video card in the video?

Fermi has failed very hardly so far...
Search up some reviews from tomshardware or semiaccurate about the fermi chip, it's huge, overheats easily, and costs a shitload.

Sweet review. I don't like ATi but I like hardware! You should try to destroy that card like the 280 if I remember correctly. 5/5
