Just visited it for the first time. Went to Manila, Makati, Buracay, and countryside to the north of Manila. Lots of rich people, lots of poor people, most of them friendly and fun. Inexpensive usually, though it has its exclusive areas where you can find the 200 dollar shirts and the like. Safe usually, unless you don't take common sense precaution (like everywhere). I have seen many beautiful places there and saw many nice smiles on the lower and extremely lower income people over there and each smile was nice to see. Just visited it for the first time. Went to Manila, Makati, Buracay, and countryside to the north of Manila. Lots of rich people, lots of poor people, most of them friendly and fun. Inexpensive usually, though it has its exclusive areas where you can find the 200 dollar shirts and the like. Safe usually, unless you don't take common sense precaution (like everywhere). Most criticize their government. Will go back some time. May marry a Pinoy chick.
