wow this brings back memories i recall playin this for the first time and freakin out cuz i kept lossin units without knowing what happened to them i was dropped halfway through a campiagn first time and my friend told me everything cept the worms had 50 units on a desrt section scrolled back to my base and heard unit lossed like twenty times all i saw was two units satnding next two a massive worm that was retreating back underground XD thanks for this vid dood

this game sucked. i took it back and exchanged it for another game. my problem with it was the fact the maps were too small. the enemy base was almost literally one full screen-scroll away from you. zoomed in too close, no big monitor or high-res would help. most of all, were the horrible "rambo" missions where it's you, a few guys, have to do some quasi-rpg kill 1000 things and it's all fun-killing "Try and fail, try forever until you figure out the "pattern". No fun at all. What a total waste.

That's because the laser tanks can move in, attack and move out of range before the enemy is ready to fire back on it. So if done propperly the laser tanks don't even get one shot at them.

@HueSatVal & Hosea22 Yes and no, the ordo's are weak but in order to win one must specialise in stealth and speed. Quick attack and run missions using the laser tank is key to winning with ordo's.

C&C:Generals was built on the engine of Emperor. That's why the maps of Emperor are a lot smaller than those found in Generals and the gameplay is so much more unballanced.

I agree, it was a mesmerizing experience, the graphics were top of the line then, unit audio responses still are, the whole game embraced 3D (rotating minimap), stellar art direction... but balance? C'mon! In multiplayer, whenever someone picked Ordos, that's the guy who would lose.

Yes, unfortunately they are. It's easy to see the developer's concept for them: fast hit and run faction that can regenerate; but they don't have a single strong unit that can take damage, also the Kobra's STATIONARY range is smaller than the Minotaurus's when it's walking. Also no viable aerial units. The frustrating thing is as Ordos you'll get beaten by complete newbs who just build lots of Minotaurs - there simply is no answer to that which is a serious design flaw.
