Have you ever actually met a Muslim? Ever spoken to one for longer than a minute? Ever give them a chance? There is no difference between 'them' and 'us'. You are creating discriminatory barriers over nothing. At my public school there are plenty of Muslims. The cafeteria sells halah food. I am friends with them. The majority of them are more accepting of LGBT people than the Christians at the school. they don't preach, and plenty of them are female, some where the head scarf and others don't.

I have just heard that Obama is not even a natural born American, and therefore not eligible to be President. This will mean that McCain will win the election by default. Now we won't have to deal with Obama's corrupt Socialist friends from Chicago taking over our government from within. I wish Obama would just go back home to Kenya where he was born.

I did get her autograph - and Pres. Bush came to town when I was 5 - during the primary season and I got his too. Both of them are on political signs. (Jewel) If he was born here they would have shown us a birth certificate. I guess they must be hard to forge.

Obama has shown his birth certificate, stating he was born in Oahu, Hawaii. Regardless of where he was born, he is an American citizen by default, given that his mother was an American citizen at the time of his birth.

The laws on the books at the time of his birth hold that U.S. citizenship may only pass to a child born overseas to a U.S. citizen parent and non-citizen parent if the former was at least 19 years of age. Sen. Obama's mother was only 18 at the time.

That is simply incorrect. This all depends on your exposure to whatever group of which you're speaking. There are just as many absurd, foolish conservatives as there are liberals. I think the term "liberal f&%@!t" has been thrown around far more times than I care to ever hear. I've looked at videos supporting both sides, and tend to see crazier statements from conservatives. But that isn't an indication of the general population. It's easy to be a jerk on the internet. Great job singing, though.

actually, he was born in Kenya then was taken to Hawaii 3 months after he was born to establish his citizenship ,they denounced their Islamic beliefs when he was 8,later he was a councilman ,he threw partys an was there for ayers at his HOUSE( and served on several boards.this is all public record.

And what is wrong with being Muslim? I know plenty of American Muslims who honorable and decent. In fact, my doctor is Muslim. Many are better than a lot of my so-called fellow Christians. They do not drink, smoke, or fornicate in the ways I see some of the members of my congregation acting.

Your basic arguments are simply what in so many past elections were whisper campaigns...especially what was once used against McCain for having spawned a half-black daughter or that someone was a "hidden" Jew, etc. Keep your eyes on the real issues and not what someone wants you think or believe. Just my thoughts on some of the sentiments I see expressed at our rallies.

His work with Ayers- being in a church for 20 years and having a Rev baptize his children and marry him to his wife and not knowing he held extremely racist antisemitic views- refusing to release his medical and education records and claiming he lost his thesis- saying he isn't directly related to ACORN when he had represented them in court cases, trained workers, worked for project vote a branch of ACORN- he was registered as an Indonesian citizen and Muslim at his school in Indonesia etc.

First, he has acknowledged that he was on the same Chicago Annenberg Challenge Project Board of Directors with Ayers, yes? A board that also included distinguished Republicans, yes? So how does this equate to "palling around with terrorists (plural)"? It's not like they went out for beers and discussed overthrowing the U.S. government. He did denounce Bill Ayers and the Weatherman group for their activities, yes? We are all only several degrees, if lucky, from individuals we find despicable.

As for going to a Muslim school, I went to Catholic school for 8 years and I'm not Catholic. My parents chose it because it was better than our local public school. His school was not a radical Madrasa, it was simply a school.

As I said before, I attended a Catholic school years ago, and I was not Catholic, but I bet if I went to check me records there, they probably listed me as Catholic. So what does that mean? They probably just assumed I was Catholic, as they assumed him to be Muslim. I am not sure is your are aware, but Indonesia has a few Muslims and not many Christians.

Actually, his father filled out the form listing him as a Muslim. I went to Catholic schools as well (St. Cecelia's & Jesuit) and people who were not Catholic were definitely not listed as such, or forced to take part in religious activities.

Yes, that maybe true, but that is also in the U.S.A and not Indonesia. Try going to a Saudi school and registering as a Christian. Circumstances vary for country to country to conceal ones religious identity. Not so long ago, Jews had to hide the ethnicity/religious status in order to progress as Italians have had to change there names. Sometimes it is just that simple.
