  • Very sexy Oled!

  • Sony invented Organic led televisions, im gonna wait till they are cheaper to get one lol

  • "save as much space as possible"... o yeah, since slimming down a tv by .3 inches makes it soooo much more space effecient, oh yeah, and it just so happens to make it 30% more expensive...

  • looks gay and way too fake pic quality..

  • You guys hating on these tv's are fucking stupid, any TV can fuck up, wether its the first month or the 2nd year. Having working retail I have had tons of calls of random tv's which fucked up and they wanted to know what they could do. Mostly toshibas is what I heard, but I all brands equally, if you want to save your investment then buy a fucking warranty, then if it messes up BOOM instant upgrade! TADAA (fucktards)

  • mrjoemumford eats dick

  • No matter who says it the TRUTH is that samsung screwed THOUSANDS of it's customers with their JUNK tvs and the list is growing every day.

  • @29razorbock29 this is why you don't buy from the top name brands. since they have a good reputation and a large following, they couldn't give a fuck if a small percentage in a line of products fail after short term use.

  • mr.joemumford=maltyful.

it's so obvious these 2 ids are from the same person.

maltyful has commented negative comments on all samsung tv videos. hahaha.

gotta feel sorry for this guy. he must be mentally retarded or something. lol

  • @kavo1225 my mom says your a samsung sucker and can't read the truth about samsung tvs and your upset because someone told you that your tv is junk.

  • MrJoemumford = maltyful, same guy who has been posting the same message on every samsung tv video clip. letz put our hands together for his time & effort to insult samsung!! hooray!!

  • ...so many years n no problems at all...wow i love my samsung tv

  • alien technology the government stole it.

  • Put SAMSUNG TV CLICKING into a google search and get TRUE reviews on these junk tvs.

    Don't let SHAMSUNG SHAMYOU !!

  • what the heck.... alot of people have no problem with Samsungs.... probably the only reason why samsung has alot of "problems" reporting in is because there are SO many more Samsungs out there than other companies.

Don't bash Samsung! Samsung makes good quality electronics.

  • Don't cry when your junk tv takes a dump

  • Don't cry whn your junk tv takes a dump.

  • This guy ASS31 WILL BE THE LOSER IF HE BUYS THIS JUNK. Use your head and check it out before U buy.

  • No, I Myself got burnt with this JUNK and just trying to save others from the crap I went thru. IT'S VERY EASY' just do a search on google. Put "samsung tv clicking" into the search and read about thousands of samsung customers are pissed off big time when their tv burns out just after the warranty expires. DON'T BE A SAMSUNG SUCKER like me.

  • Comment removed

  • Find out what happens to samsung tv's just out of warranty. Put samsung tv clicking into a google search.

  • You left same exact negative comments about every Samsung products didn't you?

Are you hired from Sony or, something?

    Worthless jobless, Brain tumor Loser!

  • Why don't you do the search that maltyful suggested? It's very interesting. And you might learn something.

  • T.R.O.N.

  • orgainic lol tv'd grown in crop feild

  • OMGLED any soon? LOL

  • these are shit there to small ( not thin small) like smaller then most monitors there not even 1080p

  • @bizzy400

As of now, the bigger they get in screen size, the shorter the life span, so there is still work to be done. Also the screen sizes are compressed so much that it won't matter if they don't support 1080p, the picture will be fantastic. But they really do need to add 1080p support cause people who buy these tv's are more than likely going to be using Blu ray players

  • RIP DLP.

  • whats the difference between LED and OLED, like the samsung led and the sony oled

  • LCD - liquid crystal, lit via a tiny fluorescent backlight sandwitched in the bottom of the panel.

LED - liquid crystal, lit via tiny white LED's usually directly behind the LCD.

OLED - no backlight whatsoever - the pixels generate the light you see, made with organic phosphors.

AMOLED - the same as OLED except this incorporates an Active Matrix.

  • amen

  • cool

  • Let's say at least 5 or 6 years before OLED tvs can be sold at an affordable price

  • the new Sony OLED is only only 11" and goes for $2,500.

  • either those are amazing or that guy is a really good salesman. haha

  • Lol agreed

  • we might get it in Jan or Feb 2010

  • "Since OLEDs can be printed onto any suitable substrate using an inkjet printer or even screen printing technologies,[42] they can theoretically have a significantly lower cost than LCDs or plasma displays" -wiki

    Cost less!!! Ha! Life sux:(

  • Yeah, you also got to pay for quality.

  • Yeah but they dont have the production capabilities yet. That's why it is still so expensive.

  • OLED is the future. But it's still very very expensive to make, wait for it. It will definatly be worth it.

  • be cheap after 5 years, like hdtv's were $50k now there less than $1k

  • Jermaine??haha that's no suprise.

  • have you seen how much these led tv's are £3000 WTF

  • u have to give the marketing people for confusion people with led technology....saying led hd tv is led tv is like saying a prius is really a "green" car..

  • Still won't keep pace with my 56" Panny CRT... 5 yrs old and re tuned once and looks better than it did new, OLED may look pretty but they don't have a great lifespan. Wait for FED (or SED) TV, all the attributes of a high-end CRT set but only an inch thick tube display, they look even better than OLED

  • Wheres it all going to end, its not worth buying a tv atm, the market wants to make its mind up. Once youve baught something it'l be outdated in six months. I feel sorry for peops who baught hd ready tv's before they started to put hdcp on them. So the futures not plasma or lcd. Im just going to have to stick with my lcd. The led ones do looks better, but whats the point, ive heard talks of 3d television and cordless television. Should make tvs with easy access to update.

  • getting one this christmas!!!!

  • Yeah just bought the 40" series 6 :)

  • wow its sooo cooooL buying it tomorro!!!

  • i bought an 63" and it´s awsome!love it <3

  • hahahahahahahaha dont hate!!! apreciate!!!!

  • it will rot in a few years if its organic.....lol

  • Stupid person. Natural colours because of organic material. Never had such techno joke by a smart pants marketing idiot.

People here keep ranting that LED TV not possible. People shouldn't express their opinions if they don't know about subject and technology. Please do some search for OLED topics on internet. OLED tv are possible. This is not the LED backlit TV as in Samsung 7000 or 8000 series.

  • natural colors because its made from organic materials? and ppl do believe these

  • @cocy3000 As i was listeining to him, my eyes also rolled. Poor guy trying to sell technology that he doesn't understand. :-)

  • @cocy3000 people actually believed the quatron gimmick. Funny how many people dont realize we see in red blue and green.

  • LED tv is not really led tv....it's just LCD with LED backlighting instead of using traditional florescence light...it's a marketing ploy....REAL LED TV is not possible in a regular TV...

  • But LED backlighting can dimming selectable brightness of each darkness area of screen.

  • this stuff is OLED. Not that lcd/led hybrid stuff of today. OLED is much better and a true led only display.

I KNEW sony and samsung would massively confuse the market with the way they're pushing led backlight as just led tv's. So annoying

  • Comment removed

  • lil3s and toosiq are dumb fucks hahaha what retard pays that for an 11" screen it would barely be big enough for my bathroom lol bumb asses

  • these things are $2400 fuck that stupid shit you can buy an samsung led 55" for $3000 and its better in every way screw this tv

  • I bet they hate you 2.

    you racisit prick

  • TupaCock

  • are those hd?

  • I bought one about a month ago and it cost me 4,000 but DAMN it is worth every penny...!!!!!!

  • i just bought one today and watching porn has never been so realistic

  • lmfaoooo

  • how about graphics-wise? i see that the color is better, but is the definition better than or at least up to par with 1080p?

  • so how can u plug a game system into it?

  • HDMI perhaps.

  • it has 4 usb in the back..

  • i want one of those, theyre fuckingggg great

  • Not to mention it also displays true black unlike its lcd/plasma counterpart. Lcd never fully blocks the back light in darker colours. Usually giving a dull washed out feel. When led shows black, no light is being emitted, therefore True black unlike any other tv to date!

  • check out my channel for a great review on the new samsung led tv or visit my blog

  • Comment removed

  • how can you tell since you're watching this video on your display and not an OLED? :)

  • OoOo first anorexic models and now Anorexic tv's

  • lmao!

  • thats juss stupid ill stick to my 55 lcd 1080i paper thin looks liek ti will break fast when kids hit it never ppl

  • lets rape tvs :)

  • Good idea!

  • whatever. Samsung TVs are the best selling brand in the world.

  • Japan make better tech but Korean make better tv

  • Yes, that looks like a nice TV to rape!

  • I love raping those sexy TV's and VCR's!

  • Since the advent of the Blue LED, I knew it was only a matter of time before a Tricolored multi cathode LED would be created, and LED tvs would be a reality, I said this to a teacher back in 1998 but he laughed and said theyd only be used in big venues like ball games and stadiums, for a while I thought he was right, especially when we started seeing them pop up in stadiums. Now, I'm very happy and for 3 grand anyone can own a large screen LED HDTV. Go technology!

  • this stuff is OLed. Not lcd/led hybrid stuff of today. OLed is much better

  • he is full of shit about the "natural light because its organic"... it is definitely BETTER than LCD, but not because of it being organic.

  • I think hes trying to play on the Be Green trend among the Yuppies, simply because the people who bought into the LCD and DLP technology won't want to buy a NEW 3,000$ television so soon after theirs unless there is more to it then getting "a good picture"

The contrast ratio is phenomenal, because black is true black (off is off and not a mirror turned away from light or no signal to a still backlit LCD pixel) it dose prove to be the best technology in video, it has 40% less power usage too.

  • I have a huge rear projection TV and I love it!!!! HEHEHEHEH

  • I think we should wait. and see when the bugs start coming out

  • by the time they start to fail, samsung would have already develop something way better by then. Samsung pwns!

  • give it 5 more years, and we will have tv in our heads. most likely wall tvs, will no cords.

  • It seems all people see when they think of 'the future' is making things thinner hahaha. Ok so they've gotten the world's thinnest TV now what are they gonna improve? run out of ideas huh? xD

  • hope it will be like a piece of paper. haha! the only i know is that the future is unexpected for sure!!!

  • alright so can u play xbox on this?

  • can play.

  • wow...i need to get me one of those in my room to replace my old standard tv!

  • that black guy and chick must have no idea of what they are talking about...just like neo and the architect.

  • Just came back from Best Buy today and saw the led tv's for the first and I did not know what to make of what I was looking at. The colors were so rich it damn near looked fake.

  • these arn't led/lcd tvs, they're true oled tvs. Much better and more natural

  • still rather VHS quality :P

  • I'm supposed to trust info about OLED displays from a guy who claims that "What your looking at is the future of LCD TVs". Does this guy even know the difference between a Liquid Crystal and a Light Emitting Diode?

  • You are wrong because LCD is the mask used on panels and LEDs are the light sources. Therefore a LED TV is a LCD TV using Diodes instead of Flourcent Lamps for backlighting. They are both using LCD technology for masking. What they differ is the light source.

  • No, it is a matrix of 3 different colored Organic Light Emitting Diodes clustered in triplet sets to form Pixels. They need no mask. This is why they can be made flexible. Why would you need Red, Green and Blue elements to make white light behind an LCD?

You are confusing this technology with Samsung's LED backlight they currently market, which uses traditional LEDs.

  • It was a reply to your "Does this guy even know the difference between a Liquid Crystal and a Light Emitting Diode?"

    I wasn't talking about OLEDs.

  • Well since my comment was about THIS video, which is about Samsung's OLED technology, I assumed, apparently in error, that it would be understood that I was talking about the Light Emitting Diodes in the OLED he was demonstrating in the video. Silly me...

  • Lol, the guy you're responding to is wrong, he's aware of it, and is just back pedaling to save his ego. Youtube comments are full of people like that.

  • Nope, your are wrong.

  • He mentioned OLEDs in the same post that you were responding to. Don't try to back pedal, just admit that you don't know any better than he does. It's really pathetic how some people try to save their ego on youtube.

  • lol. Thanks for your efforts to save the Youtube but I think you are on a wrong case. Calm down dude.

  • I had 2 Samsung LCD and they're NOT reliable! First one had no sound on analog channels from day 1 -- Samsung tech had to come out to verify it, then ordered the part, then came out again - they don't just give you a new tv. 2nd Samsung's power supply died after a year and costs $450 to fix. In contrast, my 3 Sony LCD tvs have be trouble-free and they're over a year old. Life's too short for unreliable products!

  • Id this better than 1080p?

  • They didn't say, but i am guessing they will be 1080p.

  • Sorry, last TV I bought was a Samsung. Had to replace it 3 times during the 12 mos of warranty, then found out they revoked the extended warranty on the model. Not buying another one.

  • OLED is amazingly clear but so far it is an expensive technology that can't be readily spread and purchased by many people. I think that is why Samsung has introduced LED TV which is amazingly clear and stunning as well. LOVE SAMSUNG

  • "Because they're made from organic material, they're closer to natural colors..."

    WOW. Definitely a marketing guy.

  • I was just thinking the same thing... dude has no idea what he is talking about, just memorized a script lol

  • does these have hdmi ports for gaming like ps3 60gig i have!!!!!!!!!!

  • only like 4 hdmi ports :)

  • WOW you can really see the quality... Feels like it's really there (joke)

And weren't L.G. the first to come up with this? I remember seeing it on the gadget show.

  • The colors are extremely artificial on all of these new tvs.

  • Not on the OLED TVs.

  • the tv seems cool but the interview is idiotic.

  • yea we just got the luxia series in at bestbuy a couple weeks ago and they are amazing. 40% more energy efficient than traditional cold cathode lcd, yet stunning picture contrast at over 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast. and literally paper thin. its like a 52in ipod touch. stoked

  • Didn't the Samsung website said that the ratio is 3,000,000:1

  • Comment removed

  • Samsung is pushing realy hard...

I´ve the Sony OLED and the LED TV at my shop.... and WOW the same TVs from Samsung are much better (and cheaper)

    and hell, they are multimediacenters!

  • This is bullshit! When will it ever end? I'm looking to buy an LCD but now I don't want it because six months later it will be outdated.

  • buy a 55inch led tv at best buy, its either 55 inch or a little higher or lower just look for the paper thin one lol

  • I know right? I'm gonna wait til they have a 240Hz LED TV by the end of the year to buy one. Gives me time to save, ya know? Then I have to find a way to get rid of my LCD TV after.

  • 240 hz is coming out this year? I was looking at a 60hz but it seems now that it would be a total waste of money.

  • the hz isn't the most important part, the human eye can only refresh an image at somewhere between 30-60hz so past a certain point its just overkill.

  • Different technology there.

  • i wonder how light they are

  • 55inch is : Product Weight with Stand 60.4 lbs.

Product Weight without Stand 48.9 lbs. this is from samsung

  • Sorry I only use Free-range, fair trade, hemp woven VEGAN LED's

  • lol conflict free

  • samsungs UE-46B8000 will be my next tv :)

  • but you know that the OLED tv wont last long they only last like 4 years

  • Plus the organic ones are more nutritious than standard LCDs

    :-P

  • samsung rocks... love their tvs :)

  • im going to get one

  • @ 1:12

  • I cant wait to get an Oled for my ps3, Samsung keeps the price down on their tvs

  • and look at fallout 3 tv's ugh

  • Yea but a fallout stumped a lot of progress in that reality.

  • Actually highest with a LED is a million to one ratio whc is the Samsung 9 series.

  • But that is dynamic contrast, not 'true' contrast range. The 9 series relies on multiple led backlights, a step up for LCD technology, but still causing a glow like effect around small bright areas. OLED has vastly superier per-pixel true contrast.

  • I see Samsung LED LCD out right now....this is all getting way too confusing. When is an OLED going to come out? Is an LED LCD TV the same as an OLED TV?

  • LED LCD TV is just a television that has LEDs as the backlight for the LCD TV instead of fluorescent bulbs. OLED televisions, use organic compounds to produce the picture, and requires no backlight at all.

  • Impressive 5/5

  • What im really interested to see is just an LED in a 22 inch model, so far the lowest ive seen is like 37 or something...

  • when plasma tv came out they were like $10,000 then they got cheaper.

  • I don't care if this TV is the best picture in the world, there is no 11 inch TV that is worth $2,500. What they don't tell you is it burns out in 14,000 hours, which if it's on 6 hours a day, it only lasts 6 years. Everybody go eat up the eco craze and I'm going to spend money on a wasteful high emission emitting car because this is just another brilliant marketing ploy to win over your hearts and steal your money

  • unless if they drastically reduced the price, some models cost up to 10 grand!!! but it will get better

  • She didn't understand a word he was saying...

  • Organic?? what the f#@ is he talking about?

it need to be feed!?? LOL! Bullshit!!

its 100% electronic... cool thing! but...

    spare the nutty talk!

  • organic. they use jelly fish raw meat to produce colors. jelly fish meat emit light when electricity runs through it.

  • isn't it like... illegal ?? LOL!!!!

  • no, its not from jelly fish. The light is produced from non living organic compounds. There is nothing "alive" about them.

  • Samsung plans to release these badboys in 2009...Question is, how large in size will they actually be? and expect an super expensive price tag.

  • They say that 60"+ sizes will be released in 2011, 30" in 2009.

Sony is selling one atm, I'm not sure how big maybe 37,38"? But its going for 2999.99 so I'm just gonna get a LCD for the time being.

  • I wouldn't waste a dime on any LCD, when their motion/response time and not to mention color just cant match a CRT, although blacks arent really an issue anymore if you're buying one of the new LED LCDs. anyways, the only tech that can almost match crt is LaserVue(for now) but the smallest size is currently 65" and it goes for $6999 ;o....For now, i'm sticking with my CRT...But it will be interesting to see what rolls out in march for the new HDTV line up..also, i wonder how OLED handles motion

  • Oled have a refresh rate of 0.02ms. MUCH faster than a high end CRT (<1ms). They can also achieve a one million to one contrast ratio. They are currently the best display technology. CRT, LCD, Plasma or Laser do not come close.

  • Well Organic LED's have been tooted for a while, unlike Apple keynotes thee technology is never delivered for a long time. So it must be time. It looks impressive, but like other technology I have heard about I am awaiting SED technology. When Canon sort the patents out oh and the technology.

  • hurry up i need one 46

  • hell yeah say goodbay to plasma tvs. o shit another new thing to buy, fuck.

  • HOLY SHIT I WANT ONE XD

  • Say goodbye to Plasma TVs!
