It was originally copyrighted by Bobby Hebbs in 1966 and was renewed in 1994. The copyright currently belongs to his heirs and will not expire until 2080. I think Bobby Hebbs would be extremely offended by the use in this video of this song given the origins of that song.

@snowiedognorth I think everyone would have a different response to your question, but here's mine. The way the government steps on the constitution is like taking a huge right from the people. The constitution limits the power of the president so that to go to war, for instance, he has to ask congress (the representation of the people) for permission. That doesn't happen anymore.

It was originally copyrighted by Bobby Hebbs in 1966 and was renewed in 1994. The copyright currently belongs to his heirs and will not expire until 2080. I think Bobby Hebbs would be extremely offended by the use in this video of this song given the origins of that song.

John Chambers CLEARLY said that one of the reasons for the downgrade was that the final package lacked revenue reform. Who blocked that? @joe035 Personally, I really didnt have much of an issue with Dr. Paul that changed recently when I saw his Ames speech in Iowa. But here's my theory on why he hasnt been elected yet. Yes, he has some ideas that are ourside of the mainstream (the drug thing you mentioned for one), I kinda feel its not so much his message, but the messenger himself. To me he looks and sounds more like a wise, experienced older Dr., than a President...I dont if most people see him as an Authority figure.

The constitution limits the power of the president so that to go to war, for instance, he has to ask congress (the representation of the people) for permission. That doesn't happen anymore.
A recent Rasmussen report showed that around 50% view the Tea Party label as negative. Awesome job media.

The bobblehead Bachmann, who says the Soviet Union is still a terrible threat? At this point I'd be genuinely surprised by a TPer who knows what continent they are on.
