No diria que Debussy es el dueno de la escala "whole tone", pero si, Albeniz la usa en cada de los movimientos de esta gran obra por lo menos una vez antes de la climax. Siempre es efectivo, pero especialmente en Jerez, y como la toca de Larrocha... dios!!! Me conmueve cada vez que la escucho.

Perfect interpretation!! so pure and pristine and without slowing the piece a bit. I close my eyes and imagine myself in Spain again...

of the entire suite this is my favorite piece not because of difficulty but it's just a pickup, especially the applause at the end.

Interesante cómo Albéniz usa la escala de Debussy para crear tensión, que finalmente resuelve volviendo a la escala tonal.
