Now that the gay mayoral candidate (George Smitherman) was defeated in 2010 by Muslim posters and Tamil radio ads, not to mention a huge voter turnout of our ethnic communities, I wonder just how long before parades like this can keep going. Remember, we are taking in 240,000 immigrants a year from countries that are hostile towards gay rights. British cities already have "Sharia Zones" which ban music, unmodest dress, alchohol & tobacco. How soon before Toronto gets this treatment?
This was my 9th or 10th year going to the parade. I went 20 years ago and a couple of years after. I was there on Sunday and uploaded 2 videos. People are people regardless of their sexuality, economic circumstances, age or religion. And no, I am not gay and yes, I have several close gay / lesbian / transgender friends. These friends of mine are educated, professionals and treat me well. I went alone this year and had a blast making my two videos to 2 a.m. today.

Queers suffer from more STDs and intestinal parasites than any other identifiable group, they life shorter life spans, are less healthy and suffer from more addiction problems and depression than heterosexuals do. And this has NOTHING to do with "hate" or "bigotry." If you are going to indulge yourself in sick, degenerate sex acts then you can expect to reap the rewards. No wonder Ron Ford doesn't want to go near their self-indulgent sicko parade.
