Tectonic activity has NOTHING to do with a comet that is (depending on what you take notice of) dead/ disintegrated/ too far away and far too small to have ANY gravitational influence on this planet! The fact is, central america (like the west coast) sits on a very active earthquake region, it has for millions of years, earthquakes are NOT new! I thank you.

@nyverone It isn't even a coincidence. In the same way that (for example) twenty thousend elephants mating in Africa at the same time would have no effect on earthquake activity. Comets are just dust/small rocks and mainly gas (the bit you can see). No-one suggested that Haleys comet would have any effect on Earth, why is this one supposedly any different? It's alegedly coming within (if it gets that far) 22 MILLION miles from us. a thing the size of perhaps half our moon (if that) mainly gas.

It's always possible the Caribbean plate can sink, I'm in the South East on the border of the South American and Caribbean plate and there is always that fear that the island could be pulled down into the sea if the plate sinks.

I agree, with theelenin thing but.... the truth is that earthquakes occurences have only slightly changed, but earthquakes of 7.0 and above have nearly doubled... a good explination of this is on larouche pac one of their vids if you can find it.

Elenin couldbe a boy that cried false flag to create an ignorance to the people about what may lay ahead, if anything we are in a heavy solar cycle. if you be a puss and debate i might find the vid 4 you

sinking? first of that area with small quakes is puerto rico in that area the usgs always goes on a limb and posts the tiny quakes there, also across the whole usa alaska and hawaii those are the only exceptions the usgs does is in those areas, and the central america plate and the caribeans didnt got that much magnitude just now guatemala but that's about it.

Wrong, not standard. If you survey quake data every fucking day against your will you'll know that Guatemala isn't a complete rarity, but with increased activity comes sensible warning. In the past 2 and half hours there have been 4 quakes in same spot of Guatemala. 4.8 then 5.8 then 4.8 then 4.5. Nothing on Guatemala for more than a week, two it seems. Stop ripping on those who are analyzing data, opinions are needed because the media shuns a lot of details of quakes.
