Holy shit, at 0:19 I actually thought that plane was going to slam into the dome in a fiery explosion. The perspective made it so you couldn't tell. That was really eerie and creepy.

Now just imagine if Bush, at that time in history. Had he given an order to profile men from the middle east. Or perhaps we might have to invade Afghanistan to dismantle the Taliban. Most likely, yes. If he attacked preemptively, then he'd be a war monger.
However, that just makes him a worse person. If he didn't preempt the attack for image reasons, then that just makes him more concerned about his image than about the American people.
He should have done his job, and acted on the intelligence that suggested an impending terrorist attack, regardless of the impact on his image.

Exactly!... There are times when you have to act preemptively. However an invasion of Afghanistan, would not have stopped the terror attacks here in NYC. The cell was in place for well over a year. Before the Bush administration... You could read some of the 911 panels briefings on this stuff. They were at war with us, but we weren't at war with them. Now the doctrine of Preemption has been rolled back, under the Obama administrations. Sad stuff...
