Iraq is producing 2 1/2 million barrels of oil and rising. It could reach 6 million in a short time. If Iran also continues output ,then the price of a barrel could drop dramatically. Therefore, in order to keep the price up, the US slaps Iran with sanctions to keep its oil off the market. Iraqi oil coming on the market, Iranian oil going off the market- the price stays up. Follow the money every time...

As far as my grammar, I made the top 1% between 2,000,000 students in English national test 20 years ago making 667 out of 677 score. Also top test score in communications class back in college days between 40 American students.

Ron Paul proposes ending the War on Drugs, which would more than half the prison population.

Don't tell me you consider American prison sentence as a "tough punishment" for rape and murder of a 10 year old girl!

Prison with cable-TV, 3 meals, Doctor, Dentist, gym and private room is a joke.

A tough punishment is cutting rapists balls off. A tough punishment is death sentence for any intentional murder within 1 week of crime. A tough punishment is isolation and 1 meal per day, no gym no TV. Tough is cutting man's finger off for robbery. Then you'll see howmuch crime is left.

Compared to much of the developed world America has very high instances of prison rape and suicide. So I would say it is tough. What you describe is 3rd world torture, which no civilized nation should allow.

Despite being 'the leader of the free world' we still have the world's biggest prison population. To me, that suggests something is very wrong with the justice system.

Prison rape in America is continuing because the law won't hang them for rape the next day. Hang two and we'll see howmany dare to rape again. Suicide in prisons is common to all because no decent man tolerates 1 night in prison.
