The women's tour needs a steady dominant world no. 1 who can actually handle the pressure of being targetted constantly. Henin did that for about 2 consecutive years, although not as the no. 1, but still the dominant leader in the game, and her retirement has showed just how fickle the women's circuit really is.

I'm a huge Justine and Amelie fan and in the absence of Juju and with amelie struggling with form, I just can't watch women's tennis anymore. Yeh Juju had her faults (questionable gamesmanship) but my goodness she played beautiful tennis. If on the were more players that played with a little bit more flare.

Yeah, most of the players nowadays seem like glorified pin-ups. Just doing good enough to grace the cover of Maxim. But hey, that's just me.
