you can use the Euro in many places in the UK thought. Hungary have their own currency also, Its basically the members of the EU

I meant places as in Stores in the UK. In England (not sure about Scottland and Wales and N.Ireland) you can use Euros in some of the big supermarkets. Such as Tesco's or Sainsburys but the exchange rate will be higher so its cheaper to change your money at the bank and use £.

Yeah you can use Euro's in Jersey and Guernsey. But the £ is Guernseys offical currency, not sure about Jersey but if think both Channel Islands use the same

The Pound and Pence are correct, but like in the US the UK have differant terms for money, like 10 dollers can be 10 bucks. 10 pounds can be 10 quid
