All of the Microsoft commercials are filled with BS. I guarantee half the people in these ads use Macs. Guess what these dumb ass commercials are made on? You guessed it... Macs! Kinda like the Microsoft commercials with celebrities.. i know at very LEAST most, if not all, of the musicians in the commercials use Macs.. I've seen Pharell or whatever his name is do music on a Mac. Awesome job of mentioning your competitor and giving them more PR. Microsoft.. always helping Apple sell Macs. =)

just for the simple fact that i work at best buy i know how much that commercial is fake. for one the computer she bought was 699.99 decent price. oh wait but i thought she got everything she wanted.  i guess she doesn't need MS Office or anti-virus software. not to mention the 20 minute start up process and all that fun trial software. and thats just the beginning of what she didn't get. I know it looks biased but i own both a mac and custom built my own pc. im just bashing the commercial

This shouldn't be an argument between if it's Actors or not. Neither about which is the best OS. It's like comparing Apples and Oranges....MS...sorry....(pun intended). Instead, it should be a dollar for dollar comparison completed with hardware for hardware argument. Mac & PC users are both winners in their category. However, one thing we all agree on is that Macs are cool. So, let's stop bashing each other. Kool?

The point is that the situation proposed in the ad may be fictitious with the actress getting nothing more than her normal pay in the form of a paycheck for her work on the commercial.

But, either way, it doesn't change the message the ad is trying to communicate.

And, in any case, I don't allow ads to dictate my decisions.

I primarily use both Windows XP and Mac OS X (I like computers, not just Windows or Mac) and have no intention on getting new Windows computers until Windows 7.

Ok, who cares if she is an actress or not. The real truth is since Windows 2000, Mac's operating system or computer is no better. It's like trying to say buying any computer, vs. building it is cheaper. The logic thing is that it is almost cheaper to build everytime. No matter what way you cut it, Dell's are expensive Mac's are expensive. The only thing that saved Mac's ass was the Ipod. Brand names cost more, fact. ... BUT look at the window to the right, as the man in question walks by. You will see the reflection of a guy in a jean jacket, white shirt hanging lower then the jacket and jeans that are slightly lighter then his jacket. He is the same guy who is walking IN to the store as she is walking out - spinning around at the doorway

yep, pc girl, I had pc´s all my life, and every new pc i bought was slower or same speed than the ones before, and guess what, programs that could work without extra hardware with windows 98, they need extra hardware in xp, and dont work a s**t with pc´s four times faster. Now i have a Macbook pro and is the ferrary of computers, everything works, not so expensive. I won´t need to buy a new one in the next two years when the next microsoft windows comes and slows her shitty PC.

talking about this ad.. microsoft should not be soo much aggresive for selling its windows..but then again at the end of the day.. its us who has to choose right computer for us.. choosing pc and saying mac is bad...thats wrong.. or someone choose mac and says pc is suxxor.. its also wrong.. its a matter of liking and choice.. choose whats right for u or what u like.. but saying bad things for computers that we dont own or like its unfair.. i hope i have cleared up my point.. :)

what i feel that mac has some special karma that pc is missing in someways..(personal point of view) i dont know software or looks.. but pc is very very good for hardcore gaming.. i like mac and pc and have highly respect for both computers..
