A review of cameras with no photos to judge surely that's what matters most. I think reviewer bias towards the Samsung because from what I have seen there's barely any difference between the two if anything the HTC takes slightly better pictures.

The only thing that you forgot to tell, that HTC Sensation has instant auto focus, so you don't have to wait for focusing before shotting an image, it's just taking it without late... It's important.

And anyway these phone camera application has nearly no differences. The only difference that touchwiz is more complicated in this case and that's why it looks more professional, althogh it's the same as the htc-s one...

@DcEvoIX galaxy2 & motorola photon are both coming out before the end of july, i know its a fact the photon is being released in july & verizons version of the galaxy2 also before july ends so im going to assume the rumor for the sprint's version of sgs2 aka within will be out by then also. im using the evo3D until then since i have until july 24th to either return or exchange for another phone. is theres no sgs2 then ill gladly stay with evo3D. gaming specs are same in real life use.

@DcEvoIX it afects people differently,2 me it doesnt.also after t@ing a 3D foto you can edit & tweak the 3D effect,clariry & focus so they look much more professional.the spiderman game th@ coms with the fone i cudnt C the 3D efect until i held it farther from wh@ i usually do with fotos so i thought the game sucked,but it was only 2day th@ i figured to hold it a little farther & all of a sudden the game was 3D! i could C the depth of the floor & buildings there was actual space inside my fone.

@jay33011211 yeah hes full of it,i saw a couple of reviews that showed the photon & they compared the qHD screen it has to being as good as the sgs2 in color & contrast. the amoled + was better but they were very close. the only difference is that the screen tech that is used on the photon & droid3 use less than 40% energy than what amoled+ uses. im thinking all the crap hes going to talk when they compare the 2 phones.

That's a bullshit lie.

Samsung Super Amoled + is based off of OLED, superior to regular LCD that qHD is based on. There isn't any mobile display commercially available that can match the colour and contrast of the Super Amoled and I bet you there is NO screen that is %40 more energy efficient and you should know that's bullshit. SLCD and qHD will always be inferior to Super Amoled +, let alone SuperAmoled.

It might come close to Amoled though...

On the battery life issue,i have had both phones, the sgs2 is better but not by much unless you compromise how you use it. ie screen brightness,apps running.

on my (old) desire, allthough a luvly gorrila-glas front had been spended, on the back you have to do with cheep plastik, this means that after a while the quality of the pictures start to deteriorate, depending on the condition of the cover.

The HTC sensation beats the galaxy S2 in hardware and possibly Sense..

But i use a case for my phones at all times anyway, so the galaxy S2's plastic doesn't bother m all that much (though better materials would have been appreciated )

And as for the UI, well i am going to use Launcher Pro Plus anyway (better than both Sense and Touchwiz) and then as soon as Cyanogenmod 7 comes to the GS2 i am switching to that :D.

sense might have more eye candy than touchwiz,but in terms of performance and features,touchwiz destroys sense.my boss got the sensation and my mate has the sgs II,I've played with both extensively,sgs II has more features,also while the sensation is pretty quick,there is just something about the sgs ii that gives that glossy smooth feeling,I cant put my finger on it,but it just felt smooth and slippery and fast,that's why I'm getting sgs ii when my contract is up. sensation is beautiful though

Hey Sam, it looks like the cradles coming out for the Sensation hold it landscape. The home screen doesn't rotate, but what about when you get a phone call or calendar reminder etc? No point getting one of the landscape cradles if you have to hold your head sideways to see what the phone is trying to tell you!

The SGS2 is a better piece of technology, it has the details down when it comes to the responsiveness of it's UI and apps/browser. It could have had a little bit more eye candy, but if they had that, the Sensation would have no marketing point. Hah. (; The widgets and UI are great but after the awe of the Sensations' skin deep appeal wears off, you'll kick yourself for not going for a phone that's non-bloated, operational and has an unlocked bootloader for custom ROMs. Samsung, you surprised me!

First of all i am not talking about the performance of both the phones,i am just talking about the video comparison,there are many videos on youtube including one on slashgear channel which clearly shows how good the video quality is on Sensation unlike the one u have posted which clearly shows your love for samsung,secondly theses benchmarks are not always correct and does not reflect the real performance of smartphones(especially quadrant which isnt optimsed for dual core smartphones yet).

@SAAD007HAMEED I did 2 tests on each device at the same time, one under 720p and the other at 1080p and then i uploaded them, nothing bias about it.

Try doing some in browser benchmarks, that is a true idea of how fast the browser will render and load pages :), the Galaxy S2 is faster than the Sensation, iPhone 4 and iPad 2 :)

You can easily see the difference between the 2 screens in this with the blacks of the AMOLED vs sLCD. Also, the menus and even pop out options are all so smooth on the Samsung and a bit laggy on the HTC......

Sensation is abit stuttering in navigation and in the browser. The sgs2 is so smooth and lasts me up to 2 day's. The sensation battery seems shocking but expected.

Its all down to personal preference at the end of the day, the Samsung is Faster in every benchmark and the browser speed, browser benchmarks are kill the Sensation, the Sensation can only just get about the same performance as the iPhone 4 in browser benchmarks.

@samjpullen Remember that benchmark tests doesn't necessary reflect on real life of a phone. The Sensation does have a higher resolution (about 30% more than SGS2), that will affect benchmark tests. Although your right, it all comes down to personal preference. I see HTC Sensation as the beauty and the SGS2 as the beast ;)

Browser Benchmarks are a true test though, as it uses the browser to see how it renders etc :) -

he shows them all to you, and his choice is S2. I would say the interface on the HTC is better but there are alot of variety on the S2. You now have the chance to see the video and make 'your' decision, doesn't matter what you agree on
