The tendon in your heel is called, and Achilles heel.

Homer never mentions Achilles being immortal or invulnerable. In fact Achilles is wounded on one occasion during the course of the Iliad. But alas the modern, popular version is that he could not be hurt. It seems rather stupid that he would wear armor and carry a shield if he was invulnerable doesn't it? It also makes fighting him quite pointless.

Wow, the Trojans looked pretty surprised the first time they saw that horse. A wooden horse that size cannot be built overnight, especially one sturdy enough to hold grown men. If it was not built overnight, where did they keep it until it was fully completed? If someone was building a wooden horse the size of a mountain, I think somebody would have noticed, news like that gets around. Im pretty sure someone in Troy would have seen or at least heard about the horse. How did they NOT know!?

Actually I think that Homer's account in the Iliad was pretty balanced compared to most people today. We are wholeheartedly on the side of Troy because we can understand the good in people who are defending their city whereas we recognize the futile violence in attacking others.
