  • so king priam breaks down his city's gate to get it inside smh-_-

  • achilles always hated agamemnon!!!

  • the horse shape is better than on Troy movie

  • the king was gonna burn it, until that stupid person said don't burn it it is a gift from the gods. how stupid can u get they give gold not wooden trashi hand built horses!!!!! duuuuhuhuhhuh!!!!

  • how can an arrow 2 the foot instantly kill a guy

  • wait a minute. Where is Patroclus and Briseis. Besides, Homer said that Achilles left the army because Agamemnon take Briseis, but in that movie Achilles and Agamemnon are friends (!!!)

  • good job... achilles weakness is his heel..

  • how can one arrow kill achilles in his ankle? if i get shot on my ankle, dont tell me i cant get up using my other leg and fight

  • i hate the part where paris dies D: hes handsome.. ahah

  • @08:02 the bald Achilles is alive.. and now, he's trojan!! yehey!

  • ahilles had his brain in the legs, that's why so much blood...

  • why was Paris last word was

    ...goddess....

  • Is it bad that I wanted Helen to get with Agamemnon, because the actor who plays as him is hot?

  • @VirgiliaCoriolanus Rupert Sewell is damn sexy. But his character was a complete POS, and he played him as such.

  • I nearly cried when Paris got killed x(

  • How can you bleed that much from an arrow to the heel?!

  • Ah, I see, it all makes sense now. THIS version of achilles had his brain in his heel, THATS why it killed him!

  • @Blisterdude123 you can say that but didn't he get dipped in some special water as a baby and gave him amazing strength but everything below his ankle is sort of like his weak point?

  • @MrMexicanRules I do know the myth of achilles. But my point was this, this interpretation can't seem to make up its minds whether its going for a realistic of legendary telling of the Illiad. Its like the writers picked and chose when it suited them. We have the golden apple, but we also have a lack of godly intervention at other more significant points in the tale.

  • حلوووووو جدا

  • Yes! BURN IT!!

  • no no no!!!! they are cheating the horse cannot walk in a straight line!!!!!!

  • i'd bring it into the city then burn it

  • who kills Paris?! can someone tell me that?

  • @ikwistgeenleukenaam Agafucknon

  • @Paris. lol you just got owned..

~~That's what you get when you let your heart win.. whoaaa!~~

  • Achilles' death is just laaaaaaaaaaame :P

  • even as we watch this trojan horse enter that city, we do not even see the trojan horse that threatens the united states and ultimately the world

  • hehehe you must be the director

  • 5:53

    Yo, dude. Shut up.

Basically. Troy's falling wasn't the fault of Helen, Paris, a god/goddess, Priam, Agamemnon or anyone else.

It was all that stupid guy at 5:53!

  • @mysticwitch13 King Prium?

  • They should have just burned that freakin huge horse.

  • @strawberyaid I know that in The Iliad Agamemnon only used Helen as an excuse to go to war with Troy, but in this movie, was his motivation truly Troy? Or was it Helen? Both?

  • *poke poke poke poke*

  • He is speaking Maltese. They filmed this movie in Malta.

  • He is speaking Maltese.

  • what is that language the head is speaking? Some words sound like Italian, some like Arabic, some like... Japanese!

  • @ornak8 Its Maltese. its our native language in malta..this film was fillmed in one of the three islands in malta called 'Comino'. Maltese is made out of 75% arabic and the rest english and italian.. lol no japanese :)...

  • This king Priam wasn't a moron. At first. He should have burned it. :/

  • that creepy music when the horse was being pulled inside the walls of Troy.

  • lea7559 thats the only fucking place it can kill him u fucking retard

  • Thank you so much. This helped me study for my English mid-term :)

  • WHAT THE FACK BROOOO THAT SUCKS

  • OK so Achillies got shot in the leg and it killed him instantly !

    What a load of crap.

  • @Lee7559 it was supposedly his only weak spot.

  • @Lee7559 Haven't you heard of the legend?

  • @Lee7559 it wasnt his leg it was his heel. havent u heard of someone having an achilles heel? a weak spot??

  • Comment removed

  • 2:24

Man, I cracked up when I first saw that part! Epic win for Agammenon!

  • No! Don't do it!! Don't bring that damn horse inside the city!

Stupid King Priam. Stupid, stupid King Priam.

He should have at least sent some soldiers and carpenters up there first to cut a hole and look inside.

  • @kozmon0t but how coul he have known?

  • @newtwiclipsedawn101 Because it was put there by Greeks.

  • @kozmon0t What I think on the matter is that giant wooden horse statues make a really beautiful bonfire. You?

  • @JakobDailes it's the best way to prepare roast Greek.

  • @kozmon0t that is what my teacher said!

  • @justicemanga- The saying was created because Achilles could only die from getting wounded in the heel. His mother dipped him in the fountain of eternal life, but the only part she missed was his heel, because she was holding that part. Plus, it's not just a saying. The tendon in your heel is called, and Achilles heel.

  • @teefitz92 Fountain of eternal life? The myth says he was dipped in the river Styx but in reality the only person who ever said that was Statius. Homer never mentions Achilles being immortal or invulnerable. In fact Achilles is wounded on one occasion during the course of the Iliad. But alas the modern, popular version is that he could not be hurt. It seems rather stupid that he would wear armor and carry a shield if he was invulnerable doesn't it? It also makes fighting him quite pointless.

  • achilels was a bitch in this film

  • this is not clear.icant see a thing

  • isnt that the biggest irony for you.....

Achilles is a big badass and he dies by getting stuck in the back of the leg/heel

  • Agamemnon is badass, Achilles sucks penis, Oddyseus was actually done better in 'Troy' and why wasn't Hector made out to be a great warrior?

  • Paris was a selfish bitch in this movie and in troy he deserved every bit of thrust from that sword.

  • oh, come on, that thing is EVIL.... :-P obviously it's some sort of trap! does he really wants gifts from a bunch of murderers anyway?.. the whole thing is bizarre!!

  • @Nigelene Possibly, it was a belief that if they captured the horse, that somehow they would capture the magic they believed the Greeks received from it. That MAYBE the reason; otherwise, I agree; why would you not burn the thing where it stood?

  • idiots

  • These Greeks, those ones that came up with these tragedies, they must have been seriously twisted in the head!

  • Thats the worse part Paris death

  • lol they cant close there gate properly anymore they got double fucked even if the hosre failed ha

  • lol there chopping at already broken rocks .... fail..

  • .......was patroclus even in this film?

  • how d hell did they get it here in d first place? its so confusing, how did they get in nd then close it after them

  • I love it when Paris was stabbed alot of times like that. He deserved it. Die bastard! Die!!! You're not worthy!!

  • @fresh7up LOL i laughed so hard at that part, agamemnon just closes in and stabs so quikly and fades away lol just the timing and almost robot like act was priceless.

  • in this film, you really do feel sorry for menelaus, and he's probably the only decent greek leader besides odysseus. the acting in this film is ok i suppose, but the story is so screwed up its not funny

  • achilles' scream was hilarious hahahahhahahahhaha.

  • achilles' scream was hilarious hahahahhahahahhaha

  • i hate people who smile when they cry arrrgghh helen!!!

  • yay, hector and paris' death are to be blamed on this bitch.. i feel bad for the troy king because he lost both of his sons

  • @ShowYourWorking You just described like every single greek "hero"

  • Odysseus I must say and eventually Menaluas are the only two Greeks I like I hate the rest of them animals :(

  • Never realized Achilles was such a heel!

  • thats not how paris died..guess they went outta budget....im reading the book now lol....

  • @IIOdInll LOL...yeah, but actually Achilles does keep riding Hector's body like that either up to or a little after the funeral of Patroclus and yeah, King Priam goes in disguise and then he gives up Hector's body. But yeah, that Priam part didn't happen here. Yeah, very true about Paris. This version idealized him far too far from the book. Although I actually like this version WAY better than Troy. Aggie, Menelaus die and Paris DIDN"T die in that one. Ugh. Ur right...Hollywood :(

  • PEAK :/,Paris was Juked up 9 times.1 more would've ironically made up for all the wasted years this war went on for lol.

  • this movie is a shit achille doesn't die like this in the mythologie achille dies with a arrow shot by paris and conducted by apolo!

  • @YeshouaGod go read the book he does die with an arrow by paris at the ankle...cause his mother didnt put his whole body into the river styx....

  • @IIOdInll I think he means Paris. Agamemnon does NOT kill Paris. Philoctetes does. An archer vs. an archer.

  • @ThePaganSun Yea u are right...but in the book achilles doesnt keep riding the chariot with the body of hector like that and gives up hectors body to his father on request by king priam, Paris is also a coward in the book running away from meneleus in this story he is displayed as a hero...=/ hollywood.

  • @IIOdInll From my memory Paris didn't run away from Menelaus but was snatched away by Aphrodite

  • @jmzimmerman1984 yea they say he was snatched by aphrodite and when helen scorned him for leaving the battle field and not going back he never went its in the book...

  • Aw. Paris' dead. Amazing is the horse. goodness. cassandra's always right.

  • Aw. Paris' dead. Amazing is the horse.

  • 4:10 cute dog

  • what language is he speaking cause it is not greek

  • the weak achilles heel

  • *Paris gets stabbed*

Oh you've got to be fucking kidding me.

  • aww come on achillies had it comin he was a cheating bitch but paris… paris aww that was not cool he was soo soo soo… soo HOTT!!! :( im sad

  • Achilles heels

    haha

  • So wait, the guy decimates his fuckin wall minutes after the greeks allegedly scarpered? SUCH WISDOM!

  • FIGHT FOR LOVE! there is no war for love no more now its land /oil /money/ power ....human has grown into MONSTER!

  • omg Agamemnon is such a wuss, he sneaks up and kills Paris when he had no weapon and wouldnt even fight with him honorably, that fricking wuss he never meant to fight honorably

  • i almost threw up when he died everyone

  • So the Greeks doubt that Troy can fit their gift inside their city? Hmph, WE'LL SHOW THEM! -- typical testosterone-induced response. Why didn't he ask himself why they Greeks would offer a gift that they 'believed could not fit within Troy?'. If he's too stupid to follow simple deduction, then he deserved to die. But I feel sorry for Paris and the rest of Troy. =(

  • grr~ i love Odysseus but why does he have to be so darn smart?! The king shouldn't have changed his mind, he should have burned that stupid horse! hahaha:)) now i dont know where to side:))

@feudeneige18: he said "you've given me a hundred lifetimes worth of happiness" :)

so beautiful~ but Agamemnon just had to ambuscade him. GRRR~ :|

so dramatic~ got so carried away. sorry:))

  • 00:45-01:09 awesome

  • LOL!! NO ONE dies instantly from getting shot at in the heel....THATS gotta suck man.

  • @ispeak4detrees thats why its called the achilles tendon. He was immortal everywhere else.

  • Wow, the Trojans looked pretty surprised the first time they saw that horse. A wooden horse that size cannot be built overnight, especially one sturdy enough to hold grown men. If it was not built overnight, where did they keep it until it was fully completed? If someone was building a wooden horse the size of a mountain, I think somebody would have noticed, news like that gets around. Im pretty sure someone in Troy would have seen or at least heard about the horse. How did they NOT know!?

  • Actually I think that Homer's account in the Iliad was pretty balanced compared to most people today. We are wholeheartedly on the side of Troy because we can understand the good in people who are defending their city whereas we recognize the futile violence in attacking others.

  • What Pâris is saying at 2:20? I just understood «hapiness»...

  • they should have burned that thing, then all of there enemies inside it would have died :)

  • the answer of Gods... the Trojan Horse..

  • reverse psychology, works like a charm!

  • the guys who made this movie must have not even read the iliad. probably just wikipedia'd it and read half the article

  • hahaaha! the guy that was buried to tell them about the horse is talking maltese! The film's subtitles say 'ancient greek dialect' pfft :P

  • Wow that is really unfortunate. And poor Cassandra!!!! They should let her out of the dungeon, I mean, she's been right all along so what did she do wrong?

  • @babychick912 the problem is, while she was gifted with the ability to see the future by the God Apollo, because she refused to sleep with him after he gave her the power, he cursed her with the fact that nobody will ever believe anything she says about her visions. even if all her visions are true, they still won't believe her

  • @Lumadil

The amazing thing is that she had a twin brother, Helenus. She taught him prophesy and everyone believed him.

  • @babychick912 yeah i agree! The greeks probably found the prisoners in the dungeon because maybe the greeks searched EVERYWHERE!! because troy's falling!

  • omfg paris' death was really anticlimactic

  • @helenadagreat

Thank you! Add to that completely stupid. Guy bumps into him, then stabs him over and over w/o Helen doing anything. Then he goes about his business.

  • Who killed Paris?

  • this is what I call, pulling in your own doom

  • oh know, i got koolaid on my shirt. my life is over :(

  • why the bad guys of all movies as no honor ??

  • omg is could not stop crying wen he died x

  • As for Achilles. Um,then was not when he was meant to die but he did die with a arrow in his heel shot by Paris. So they got that right.

  • Oh great. So Paris, Hector, AND Achilles die...what a wonderful ending.. -.-"

I wish these myths had better endings!

  • @TaraTheTiger Except the movies skew it quite a bit. Agamemnon does NOT kill Paris! Philoctetes does which is fitting since they're both archers.

  • @TaraTheTiger Actually it's a great ending, it shows both the tragedy and the irony of war. What sucks in these series is that Achilles is a baldie and Agamemnon's ass kisser.

  • @Kotlettbengt

I suppose if you look at it from that perspective, then yes, it is a great ending. I just don't like tragedy, but I guess that's life.

Lol and yeah, I liked Troy better because Achilles wasn't a bald ass kisser! This version was good too though.

  • i hate helen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • i HATE HELEN,,SHE ALWAYS CAUSES TROUBLE,,SHE IS SELFISH,,

  • its not helen's fault if agamemnon was a lunatic own child-killer bastard !

  • 2:24 holy CRAP THAT QOULD HURT!!!!

  • I bet the Trojans always wanted a wooded horse ... there is no way wise men would bring an unchecked wooden giant horse within their city right after 10 years of war....

  • @tryingtogetanameomg well they were a very superstisious bunch

  • @tryingtogetanameomg omg ahahaaha i loved your comment.. You made the trojans sound like little kids ^_^ hahaha cheers!

  • I don't think it's the original myth, but in one of them, don't the Greeks leave behind their soothsayer to convince the Trojans to bring the horse into the city?

  • Nevermind! LOL. I didn't watch it far enough before commenting.

  • Achilles would have survived if he wore more armor rather than this ridiculous SM gear.

  • why is there a part of an arabic song as soon as they show the horse?

  • they broke down their own wall to get the horse in?? idiots!

  • honestly?! i mean, come on! how could anyone believe such a thing??

  • I applaud Achilles' death. I can't stand him - brute, vain, childish...the best that can be said for him is that he fought back for Patroclus. Other than Odysseus and Diomedes (rarely mentioned) I just can't stand The Greeks in this. I side with Troy all the way. Agamemnon is the biggest prick ever.

  • @PhillAlexandros in homers original story troy r the bad guys its good troy got slaughtered yaaa for achillies =D

  • @PhillAlexandros achilles in this movie was gay. not in Troy tho.

  • funny how one stupid movie takes u other way i hated Achilles in this stupid shit movie i should of stay with TROY MOVIE this made me sick!

  • @PhillAlexandros nestor was cool too. he was a very old greek, in fact he was an argonaut. he was very wise too.

  • @PhillAlexandros WHy? If you actually read the damn book instead of watching VERY corrupted and skewed movies you'd realize that Troy DESERVED to burn! Agamemnon gave them sooo many chances to return Helen AND the property Paris STOLE from Menelaus! Instead those losers broke the treaty and when Menelaus and Odyseeus tried to go as messengers, the Trojans tried to KILL them! If you ask me, Troy HAD IT COMING!!!!

  • @PhillAlexandros trojans started this tho... they fueled the final spark needed for agamemnons flame to burn lol. in the actual myth/history, menalaus and helen love eachother and return to sparta. greeks are the awesome i think. agamemnon doesnt seem like a bad guy he obviosuly feels things when his brother duels and so on. if he didnt care he wouldnt of poisoned the weapon or felt sadness for his daughter and so on he just knows he must be hard and ruthless to save what he has and his peopls.

  • @PhillAlexandros but yes they made alot of characters more douche bags in this move lol i will agree,.

  • @PhillAlexandros agemmenon ajax achilles are pretty bad true but odysseus was there only cause he was forced because of the oaht if you pay attetion you see he is the only greek who from the beggining till the end doens't want to be there

  • once again, poor mother:

two dead sons and a daughter ppl think is crazy. sad

  • but in real life, can u die from getting hit at the heel?

  • Real life? No. Not unless you did what Achilles did and bathe in the Styx all over except for your heel. But then again, that is a myth within itself.

  • poisen arrow u muppet

  • it was not poisoned!

it was just becuz he got him on the area where his mother held him at when he was dipped in the river styx. thus showing that he does have a weak spot. and not becuz it was poison.

and dont call me muppet! and poison is spelt like this.

  • achilles heels huh?

  • how could not notice him being gutted

    lol

  • Waaaiit...is King Priam Gimli from LOTR?

  • Yep weird isn't it!!

  • It seems even Cassandra the viosionary was not given the correct vision at the end.

  • U POSTED THIS ON MY BIRTHDAY!!!

  • how old are you now? 4?

  • no im actually 16 but i was making a point if i was 4 would i be watching this no

  • thats one big horse

  • this movie is salright..

    LMAO the war is retarted.
