Brilliant song and yes George Michael did write it under an alias and sang all the backing vocals. He then wrote him a follow up called A Different Corner but David decided to have a break so George recorded it himself and we all know how big that song was

I had the wonderful opportunity of befriending my then teen idol, David Cassidy, back in 72.  At first I lthought of him as some what of a jerk, but when I saw what was truly underneath his teen idol facade, I found a wonderful, though albeit, wounded soul. He was my friend and there for me when I almost commited suicide..I still have a special place in my Heart for you David!!!

I am sure he is aware that he is still loved by many fans. I recently saw a concert of his greatest hits and he said he doesn't do concerts for fame or money anymore, He does it for the fans. That pretty much says it all.

BTW, he will be here in Oklahoma on December 15th. I will be there! lol
