  • There is no shortage of silver. This is a myth created by dealers.

  • This guy is not trading....he is selling, don't be miss lead by his words. There are plenty of web sites that sell Gold/Silver and will offer International shipping, useing EBay as an excuse is a poor excample....also EBay shipping can be really costly, but Internet web sites that sell Silver/Gold coins and Bullion have way less shipping costs...do a Google search folks and you will find what you are looking for....trust me, I have been doing this for years.

  • @Nexstar100

I agree with Nexstar100, do your research, weigh the pros and cons of every potential deal, and then make your decision. I'm not sure I'd recommend Google for buying bullion. Ask people you trust who own bullion where they got it, and if they recommend that dealer.

Also, this video is almost a year old, and says right on it that it's outdated and only left up for archival purposes. The content no longer applies, as stated both in the video and in the sidebar. :)

  • Oh come on....EBay is the last place a person goes to purchase Silver, why would you use EBay as a place to purchase Silver coins. I can get them way cheeper....Gainsville coins, Apmex the list goes on. If you purchase Silver from EBay....you deserve to get ripped off for being an idiot.

  • @Nexstar100

I don't know who you're talking to, or what you're talking about, but as for eBay, plenty of people have no other choice. Just because you live in the USA doesn't mean the rest of the world does.

  • @Nexstar100 About a year ago I was buying silver from U.S. ebay cheaper than any other place I could get it from, despite postage. I'm in australia.

  • can john get 10oz silver bars from the perth mint/? those bars are soooo nice

  • I would like 20 asap I'm in us

  • so shipping + metal spot price = my cost?

silver is 17.35$ an ounce + shipping

  • any left?

  • I just sent you a PM.

  • 5:50 Disturbed-Land of Confusion:D Yay!!!! Great vid abd a fine taste in music;)

  • Do you have any of these left?

  • Not at the moment, sorry! Hope to get some more shipped in soon though.

Besides, you have enough silver! :p

  • NEVER ENOUGH

  • he's going to stroke to it briefly? LOL ...sorry it just sounded funny...i know I have a dirty mind LOL

  • do you see how everyone can win when there is no greed involved...excellent idea...I will be ordering some

  • Thanks Mike. :) I'll do another vid when the next shipment arrives from Oz.

  • Greetings, Received my Koalas today. Good deal, Thank you and stella.

  • ebay should be in violation of some kind of anti-trust laws owning paypal and all. Are all the coins sold out? If not i need to get my ass to the bank and more funds in the paypal!!!

  • I've always wondered why pandas were like $10 over spot. Why?

  • @Skauking

Pandas? I don't know much about Pandas, but I'm sure it's for similar reasons that Koalas are $10 over spot - because they're hard to get over here in North America, and they're very nice and highly collectible silver.

    @fox200012

Silver will reach $100 when the MSM starts covering the fact that it's very undervalued, and the sheep finally realize there's nowhere safe to store their dollars to preserve buying power. Don't troll my vids please.

  • try to buy from china's sellers on ebay.. because not so many people bid from them, usually i can get about 15-20.. but once i got 13.50.. spot price.. but ofcoz a the shipping cost is a bit high.. 5-8 dollars..

  • I refuse to buy silver from the chinese

  • ic..

i thought u want the panda..

just want to share some tips with friends..

  • buying silver pandas from China on Ebay is like playing Russian Roulette.

LOTS of fakes out there. Be carefull.

  • theres a guy in china who is selling a 160g silver coin for $29,lol gotta be a fake

he also sells 1kg silver coins for $89

  • Comment removed

  • yes, because drutter is a fortune teller...

  • What r u trying to make me angry, I don't like you.

I've been following many economists for about a year now and all of them make future forecasts.

  • every time i buy a silver coin i just made 5x my money, silver is 500% undervalued right now, its just a matter of time until i see my 60/oz, i have over 100 ounces and just starting collecting in march

  • UPDATE

Within a few hours I had shipped out 12 of the 17 remaining Koalas and have a quote out for 3 more. So there are 2 unspoken for at the moment, and I'm hopefully going to get stellaconcepts to send me another batch. Hopefully we'll be able to get a larger amount across the pond this time, which will cut down on overhead and allow us to trade them for even fewer USDs and CNDs. :)

Also, contemplating switching to Canada only, for many reasons. Undecided right now, comments welcome.

  • *Raising hand*

Drat the luck! Hey do you still have the two left? I'd love to take them off your hands!!! This is what I get for not keeping up with current vids. :( Otherwise I would have taken at least six. :( Please pm me!

    Metal Medusa :)

  • lol Metal Medusa! :D

    quote incoming!

Okay John let's get that next batch on the plane!!

  • Woot!! Thanks drutter!! I get to have some silver porn bears of my very own!! Weeeeeee!!!

  • great offer for those outside the US

  • :( sorry prices still cheaper through larger online stores like Apmex even after shipping fees $20.54 x 20= $410.80 + 12.95 shipping

    Total: $423.75 through Apmex

Against your Koalas for sale @ $26 each x 20 = $520 including free shipping.

Thats close to a $100 dollar loss any way you look at it, sorry. Thaks for the offer though.

  • @mastershakelock

Yes, those calculations have already been done in these comments. And like I said before, I only started with 17 for now, so calculating the price for 20 is moot. When I get large amounts in from John, I'll be able to do so, and doing that much volume will allow me to trade for even cheaper. :) Also, you missed that my price for 4 is less than 4 times my price for 1, so the real figure would be 100x5=$500. Apmex $440.22 - with minimum order rule. Trades so far have been for 2-4.

  • One more thing, mastershakelock. Each person who has messaged me received a quote at below what this video said it would be. :)

  • Apmex only ships to the US.

There are MANY dealers in the US that do not ship internationally. The prices are a lot better in the US and we wish we could get such good deals.

Drutter is offering people who would like to get their hands on a Koala who live in places where they are not common.

Its like comparring Walmart to a smaller local store.

  • In for 4 :D

  • Are the Perth Koala's valued higher than the States Silver Eagles? I'm not paying anywhere near $26.00 each. Please let me know why the big difference in price. Just found you and Stellaconcepts and look forward to your vids every time I get on to the Tube.

  • Thanks Lexi, and yes, please do check out John's videos, he has a ton, and he's far more technical than I am.

Yes, the Koalas are worth more in North America than Maples or Eagles are. There just simply aren't many to go around and they're a very fine coin. But if you're only interested in the highest weight for the lowest price, I do recommend some generic 10oz bars and so on. Thanks for the comment :)

  • I bought a lot of coins and sold 12 on ebay so far, like you say you have to charge quite high premiums just to break even. ebay is no longer fit for purpose and needs replacing. With paypal and a bit of know-how you can of course run your own site, if you can get enough visitors.

  • @shaurz

Absolutely. EBay is horribly corrupted, imo, and I only use it when I absolutely have to. Kinda like banks! PayPal isn't any better, but at least they don't charge 15% on each transaction, yikes. I do pay about a dollar per coin when receiving payment, but I believe it's (just) worth it because otherwise the buyer would have to send their payment in cash or money order via snailmail, which has a delay, a cost, and an inconvenience attached to it. So PayPal it is, for now.

  • love the background music :)

  • Good luck with the joint venture, Dr.Utter. I think you should do OK, esp' if these are hard to get in The U.S./ Canada. I'm pretty sure I saw a few people asking where they could you get those Koala's on another vid.

Anyway, good luck and keep the sales patter real (as you have done) and people will always come back for more. If people buy on the pitch that the world is about to run out of silver.. and then they find out it's not true they will remember you for all the wrong reasons.

    ATB, SB

  • Hey SB,

Thanks for the luck. :) So far so good. Just sent out a bunch of quotes.

I agree with you. I'm not trying to alarm anyone into buying silver. Personally, I'm alarmed, and I'm trying to get my hands on some. :) But I'm not trying to pass on that panic to anyone else. I hope everybody does their own reading and viewing to decide if they want silver or not. And just for the record, this Koala selling idea just came to us recently, I didn't start silver videos with this idea in mind. :)

    Ta!

  • lol.. I've known you long enough to know you're alarmed, dude. I think we all are to varying degrees. I would always suggest that people buy some physical assets which could and should keep up with inflation. But I know that there has been rumours floating around that silver will run out. Now.. much as I wish that were true, I would be very very rich if it were, I have to conclude that it will take many many years before there is a real shortage. Supply bottlenecks for sure. Shortage.. naaaaah.

  • Obviously nobody would think of you as anything other than a straight up guy who believes in his product. You are passionate about this subject and that has always come across. So, no, nobody thinks you're the new G4T or anything like that. lol.

Like I say man, you'll do just fine with this little venture. Maybe as things go along you could even diversify into collectors coins as well. There's ALOT of money in them there hills.

    ATB, mate.

  • Please see PM...

  • how much is each koala in US dollars?

  • is it 26 US or canadien? and does that a flat rate including shipping? or is shipping extra?

  • @limitedplay

Damn, guess I wasn't clear enough, sorry. The price I quoted in the video is in USD, but I can accept Canadian at whatever the current conversion rate is. Shipping (simple first class airmail) is included, to keep the process easy and smooth.

  • are you Ine.inc on ebay?

  • @Skauking

No, I'm not Ine.inc on eBay. I don't sell silver on eBay or on my website. I'm in another market (games/collectibles) that isn't related to silver. :)

  • Got Silver War cry playing in the background or jsut listening to Perfect Circle lol.

  • I think you and John are offering a fine service. That said, you may find yourselves under attack for your enterprising intentions. Some folks just can't stand to see anybody doing anything on YT to actually make some money. I say good on ya; if you can make an honest living without hurting anyone, you have nothing to answer for.

Best of all good luck with this! =^[.]^=

  • @Raycheetah

I agree. That's what I was referring to with my opening "I've seen this get mixed reactions on other channels". I know people don't like the idea of someone conducting business online, or specifically, via youtube. Being business-minded, I think it's an excellent idea, and people are simply getting the opportunity to buy, they aren't being forced. If they don't want the item, no problem. If they have a cheaper source, great! This is just an offer, nothing else. I hope it works well:)

  • Nothing wrong with selling on YT, IMHO. As long as the terms and intentions are clear, I think it's a pretty good idea.

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah...I'm feeling that!

  • They make real cute gifts for friends and family, Real Cool, Real Value, a very Special momento;)

  • I love All the Aussie coins, I would love some 2007 Koalas!!!

  • Uh oh John, send more Koalas!!!!!! :-O

  • Do you need a NY connection???

  • Free shipping? Wait time? Deliver to Canada? Minimum order? Accept multiple currencies? :)

  • 24oz for $20.63ea, $12.95 ship in USA, total $508.07

1oz coin for $21.13 plus $9.95 ship, $31.08 total. To be fair, you have a much better deal if you are buying a single coin. 24 coins come out to $21.17ea at APMEX. I don't know if they ship to Canada, but I'm in the US. MIn. order is 1oz and not sure about other currencies.

  • Answers: No, they don't accept other currencies. No, they don't ship outside the USA. Min order is 3 coins ($50). I tried to buy 1 coin and shipping was $9.95. Wait time can be a few days until shipping to a few weeks.

But yeah, Apmex is definitely got an incredible price, if you can buy in large amounts, and you're American, and don't mind waiting.

  • Good idea mate. Wish there was someone here doing the same!

  • @minesapint123

No Koalas available in Ireland? That's a shame!

  • I have one of those Koalas but the deal you and John have sounds great since silver has such high premiums. I admire the ethic!
