@heavymetalsoldier I know the NWA name was used, but for all intents and purposes, this was WCW's show. Only WCW talent was used on those NWA-branded shows. To give you an idea, the TV championship was created by WCW's forerunner JCP and was defended on TBS' NWA-branded programs. By 1989, the NWA was irrelevant because WCW became too big to have to rely on it (Ted Turner had the capital to have WCW tour internationally). That's why WCW left the NWA by early 1991.
