Pretty cut and dry to me.....Force cheated.If you're commenting on this and you don't race, then you really don't have a clue as to why/how this happens. NHRA knew he did it, but there's not really any "cut and dry" evidence. There was a time I was a Force fan, but not anymore....he's nothing more than a figurehead for drag racing now. Nobody gives a shit how many hours his scooter has on it, or how much Ashley's cat shits in the floor. STFU about it ESPN and show some racing!

Of course he tanked for Hight,,, just like Tony tanked for Cruz the year before! Just like team drivers hold off competitors for teammates in the lead at NASCAR! How did he "throw" the race to get his car in? Couldn't he have done the same thing in the other lane and bypassed this? Didnt Shumacher say a few yrs go he made the desicion to make a lane switch giving (I think) with lane choice the shitty lane and his other car the good one so he could advance the car that needed it, I think he said something about this being a buisness and I made the decision, Why didnt Tony bitch back then? And no co-owner or association or anything to do with the car in the other lane. May the best car win.

They should go back to the way it used to be: Count the points from the first race to last and whoever wins, wins.

Cruz and Tony should have not said anything in front of the microphone. That was a HUGE mistake. John also made a mistake by reacting to Tony's comments.

They have, like all forms of motorsports, formal protocol for protesting something like this.

They chose to take a different route and face fan scrutiny and resentment, not to mention fines and sponsor embarrassment / disassociation.

John did what any smart team owner would do in his situation. He would have been an idiot to knock one of his own cars out of the championship race. I understand the Pedregon brothers were upset, but the comments about John made by Tony were uncalled for. He could have waited until after the cameras were off. John tried to take the high road but kept getting slammed by the sore losers. John Force has done so much for the sport and did not deserve the treatment he received.
